I sent my I-751 to TSC last May ('08) and have heard nothing since the NOA (which was sent one day later) and the biometrics (which was one month later).

Checking on this forum, some people told me it would have since been transferred to VSC (though obviously the USCIS website mysteriously omits to mention anything of the sort when I log on to check the status- and as I was idly looking today I noticed the case was last updated on 2/22/2009 (not that I got sent the e-mail alert I'd signed up for... but maybe that's not supposed to generate an e-mail?).

When I click on the case it still says

"This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred."

Anyway- can I read anything into this 'update'? Or should I sit tight for an even longer wait?

I had the same update and i file in may 08. I got approved today. The messege means they are reviewing the file and they will be making a decision soon. good luck. You should know this month.

WOW !!! I'm happy for you, you derve it after waiting for so long, I still have no touches, no updates, nothing my receipt date is May 28th/08, hopefully i will get my approval soon. Did you call anyone or write to anyone for the approval or you just waited it out? Again Congrats.

I applied before you, so that means you should be next. I did called my lawyer and they called the whatever office and told them that I had to wait 180 day before I can request some explanation. So i was just not happy about that. I have seen a lot of MAY filers getting approved in all forums so Im guessing your approval should be before May for sure. Good luck man.

Remember the messege I kept posting? if you have that means they are working on it.

Today I received this e-mail:

Does anyone know which data field element did they correct?

Means they are checking your case, standard processing.

Did you send in your petition recently?

I send my i-751 early may/2008. First it said it was trasfer to VSC from TSC and in Jan/2009 I got the messege above. Thanks for your reply every info helps.

anyone heard anything in their cases?? i didnt saw any updates i called the 800 number but they just read whats online. whewww this is sucks

NO news for me, which sucks, i'm hoping i will get an answer this week since according to the IO somone had my case since wed he 25th, no updates, touche or whatever you want to call it. It trully suck.

tell me if this doesnt suck, someone who applied AUGUST 28TH/08 got approved already, which means that soon they will be working on september's apps(TRANSFERS TO CSC), and us that didnt get transfered get no news at all, god Im upset!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That sucks. I was reading another thread and found that this person got approved letter in the mail but the status online had not change and also they didnt recieved an email. Now it just got crazy. We can rely on the internet or anything, just have to wait.

Not for nothing but you should call, if the sent you an RFE you have 60 days to send document, if you dont send them they deny your case and you now what comes after that, you have to go in front of the judge and ty to stop deportation. Hey bdsmusa, baby_honey31 got approved. She applied 5/15/08. Good for her nut sucks for us since we are suppose to be before.

this is what it says, and yeah it says vermont, you should call and talk to an officer, my case has no touches at all online, which sucks because what if they mae a decision on the next few days and they dont enter anything, i wont know what is happening, i have th email on for my portofolio. Im going to call back next monday after next week exactly on april 6th. My question to you is why did you get transfered?? they were supposed to transfer from June on, even the officer told me that over the phone. I have seem people from june that got transfered and they are already appoved and with their green cards in hand, even people from july which just pisses me off, for the record im ot pissed at the people that got their green card, but at USCIS.

Since i have been reading about people getting approved from May and me receiving nothing on my case, i decided to call the USCIS again, I called last week and like i said a couple of posts before, they were no help and clueless. So today i decided to call them again I didnt enter any options i just pretended i had a rotary phone and they picked up faster than entering different options, anyways i got a customer service agent again, and again they were clueless BUT she decided to transfer me to an ACTUAL INMIGRATION OFFICER (THE REAL DEAL)well officer SANCEZ a nice lady picked up, she verified my info and proceeded to tell me that my case has been assigned to an adjudicating officer sine MAY 25th Wednesday-2 days ago. I have no touches on my online portafolio, but the officer told me that they can see everytime my case is touched, as opposed to the customer service agents who can only see what we see online. So hopefully i receive something by next week, but at least i know someone is working on it. She suggested i cll in 2 weeks, and ask to be transferred from customer service to an INMIGRATION OFFICER, so all guys and girls out there who are getting no answers from the USCIS i suggest you go ahead and call, and pray for me so I get an aproval soon.

I filed the first week of May 2008, Bio done on May, 28 2008. Transferred to VSC. Last touch on 1/26/09, is now pending.

I guess we all have to wait now. The funny thing is that I have never check the status until this month. Mainly because its almost a 12 month wait, so I started to wonder. Cookie, are you in other forums? I have seen you name in other. I think we have similar situations which i would like to comper. The only difference are the dates. We both were send to VSC. Then the satus online change to just saying transferred, and then you got your approval. So, my question is how long did it pass since your status changed to just saying transferred until your got approved. I recieved the email on 1/26/09 saying that my case was transferred.

I had the same message as cacciatore3 for a while and just a few minutes ago I got my email that says my card was ordered. I sent my stuff on 5/2 so hang in there guys, it is coming along.

That is awsome that you just recieved the email. Congrats on the approval. Hopefully I should get my approval this week. VSC had my docs on May 8.

Hi - we filed our I-751 on April 28th with VSC. We just got notified last night that the new card was ordered (so I assume we are approved). We were never transferred to any other service center.

Hi All,

I filed the I-751 May 23rd 2008 at VSC, just wondering if there is anyone out still waiting with me? It seems that transfers for CSC are getting approved already and we are still stuck at VSC.

I read somewhere that they are trying to clear all the files before getting ready for April 1 H-1B season, also read they will be done transfering all the files to CSC be end of March. Any inputs?

I suggest that these people start drinking redbull!!!!
