what airport does give EAD stamp? my fience's POE is in Newark, NJ. does this airport give the stamp?

question i just got my NVC Case # over the phone. Can i call to schedule an interview already? or i have to wait for the beneficinary to get the letter from the embassy?

Just checked Igor's list and there's so many updates. A lot of March filers seemingly got approved overnight (or they updated their time lines accordingly). Looks hopeful.

Yeah, it really looks to me like the CSC agents don't have anything to do, so some are approving more recent files....wonder what it takes to get the case transferred. Sad thing is, I can't even see my case online since we started this...(sigh)

I dont think... any of us can... or prolly one or two.... but what I do is whenever I have 5 mins that I want to waste, I call USCIS (press 1, 2, a& 3) and ask for my case... sometimes you'll hear well is too soon to be asking about this case....call again in 6 months. Sometimes, you'll hear people saying well is around 4 months, or 5 months.. etc... but the way it looks... is like we'll be lucky if its this year... and that is just not cool! because the way I see it... I understand they have a HUGE workload, but they also have to plan for it.... so like any business they charge money to do a job, and they are not meeting deadlines...so if they say well we dont have enough people... they can hire some more... and if that means increasing the cost of applying.. well... I am certain that most people rather pay extra money when they apply if they are going to see a result within a decent timeframe....

i'll pay extra $1000 if they guaranty me to get my fiancé’s visa within 4months from NOA1.. i rather be w/ my love..

lets keep praying and keep crossing our fingers that we all get our NOA2 w/ in the timeframe or sooner..

Whats going on? it seems like my timeline is getting push back to Nov...

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between October 11, 2009 and November 2, 2009*...

i really hope that we'll be done at the end of this year.

Hey everyone,

Well, at least things seem to be moving now. It looks like they are currently working on mid-February, which means we could possibly get our NOA2's by early to mid-September and then hopefully move by early December. There's hope yet!

By the way, can any of you see your case status online yet?

I am in the process of completing the G325 for the interview package. Do I need two G-325A's, or just one for my fiance. The G-325A has a signature box for the applicat and requests the alien registration number. Does the petioner also need to fill out a G-325a?

both the petitioner and the beneficiary complete their own G-325A four pages ..as every page go to a different place (look at the left bottom of each paper )

also as the USC u dnt have A number ..so put N/A

I’m in the process of putting together my k1 package.. I have couple or more questions . This is my situation. My fiancé is Philippines Citizens currently working in Saudi Arabia and his contract will be finish around Oct or Nov '09. Not sure if it’s going to be extended. I'm going to file in Vermont and Embassy in Manila, Philippines... my questions are the following:

1) Does he need to be in the Philippines thru the process?

2) Part B Q2 (alien fiancé’s address) and Q15 (fiancé's address abroad): should I use the Saudi address or the Philippines and which one? And which question address to put?... for the address in the Philippines he gave me 2 address. 1st is his sister address (where his sister going to be helping us w/ the process) 2nd is his actually address he use.

3) Am I able to still send the application?

4) Does it take a year for the process?

ooh, this is great.. i thought i had nothing... most of the time i use txt, IM and a lot of phone call.. hehehe.. i cant remember when the last time i use stamps... He will have get a police clearance from everywhere he has lived for more than 6 months from the age of 16 and up, so yes he would need a clearance from Saudi as well.

I would take a look at the average processing times for cases to go from date of filling to the interview, November is about 8 months away, and if you are sure that he will be back in the Phillipines after November I would just put the Phillipines consulate on the initial application because it is looking like the K1's are taking about 6 months to get approved now on average. Or maybe wait a couple of months so that you are confident that he will be in the Phillipines when you are expecting an interview because I think moving the files to another consulate may be a big headache.

My fiance is now working in Saudi and have a contract until Nov '09 and been there since Oct '08... He is from the Philippines and a Philippines citizen. My question are if i apply for K1 visa,

1. Will he be able to get all the requirement? like, does he need the police clearance in Saudi or in Philippines or both?

2. Also if he doesn't get the interview in Saudi before Nov '09 can we forward his interview in the Philippines?

3. or should i wait?

in the i-129f application ask "Has your fiancé(e) met and seen you within the two-year period immediately receding the filing of this petition?". is the 2yrs required?.. i havent file this application just yet b'coz i'm not sure if i should or not. i'm in between w/ I-129f or I-130 coz my fiance's work contract finish on Oct 2009 and not sure if he be able to extend his contract in Saudi. we r meeting on Dec 2009... thats y i'm not sure if i should apply or not. I wish sometimes theres ez way.. hehehe...

hello everyone...i am a newbi. i hope to find answers or somehow be enlightened as regarding to my case. My american fiance filed a K1 visa for me ( I am from the PHilippines but presently in China, for 3 years now) last February of 2008. On March he received the NOA1. after that he did not receive anything else and case always showed up as case pending and received. On October 29, 2009, he received a letter telling him the delay of the application was due to background check. Our case has been left pending and received for a year already. My question is, 1. who is being check? is it him as the applicant or me as the petitioner? or both? 2. is there anyone experiencing the same? yes? how long did it take and do u have any idea what's going on and if we still have something to wait on? 3. my contract in my work will be expiring after a couple of months, will it be another factor of the delay if i go back in the Philippines? is it better to be in my country and just wait there?

i am so desperate to hear from you base on your experiences..i am just new here and i am not very sure whether topics like this were already brought up. PLEASE HELP ME WITH SOME INFO'S.

March 3, 2008- he received NOA1

April 25- May 4, 2008 - we met 2nd time ( China )

April to October 2008 - case pending and received

October 2008 - received letter about security check

Oct-Nov 2008 -we met 3rd time (China)

December 2008 - case still pending

Jan - Feb, 2009 - we met 4th time ( China)

Feb 2, 2009 - our 1st year anniversary

Mar 2009 - our case has been pending for 1 year

still waiting and wondrin'........
