Next week first biometric interview with the ACS. Will be going to Norfolk, VA for the appointment.

Getting all the paperwork for the next phase...remove the CR-1 Conditions. Hard to believe it's coming up on two years since she's received her CR-1.

Woo Hoo!! NVC received DS-230 package and entered into the system. I was told 20 days to review, if all goes well we should have an interview date for February!!

Thank you. Do you know what happens the VISA is approved? Do we choose the Point of Entry or do they assign? Also, the VISA is for 6 months, correct? Do they mail the green card in the U.S.? Or does she enter with a green card? Sorry for the questions...

Hi, thank you for asking. We just sent immigration application and documents of proof (birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc.)Now I guess we wait? Right? We thing it might take another few weeks to hear for our appointment.

We just received notice that the DS-3032 was received and they are going to be sending the invoice for the immigration visa $404. How long after they receive payment do they send the packet?

am writing in the hopes that someone will have a sample of the "right" Police Certificate from Brazil. My wife still in Acailandia, Maranhao. Brasil and we have sent FOUR differenct Atestados de Bons Antecedentes to the NVC, and we just got a letter from them saying that "they do not fulfill the necessary requirements"...so if anybody has delt with this situation before and could send me a copy of the certificate that they sent and the NVC accpeted it, we wou...
