  1. Good day everyone and Happy New Year's,

I'm a little lost about this address changing thing with USCIS.

    1. We filed I-129F while living in Virginia.

    2. Now I'm living in California.

    3. The petitioning was approved by USCIS with the NOA2.

    4. Fiancee has sent all packages to embassy and has interview date.

I tried changing my address online on USCIS website, but I'm not really sure if my case is still pending or not. Which is it?

Any help would be nice. Thanks so much.

  3. Hello Everyone,

Filed in June 18, 2009 and received both NOA1 and NOA2. Got NOA2 in October 8, 2009, yet we've still haven't received the hard copy yet. Can anyone reassure what might be happening to our papers? I'm starting to lose my head.

Also, I'm getting ready to transfer to another Naval Command and it's all the way in the West Coast. Since I filed on the East coast side of USCIS, what will happen when I move. Like, I'm moving next week and I've called and called USCIS and asked them to expedite this for resend and still nothing.

    Anyone?? please.

Have a nice day to all,

    Victor

  4. Oh, didn't know this was a specific forum. I'm not very savy with this VJ website. I'll just keep my patience I supposed.

Yes, I am a Pinoy and a citizen and in the military. Just starting to miss my fiancee that's all. Here's my time line thus far.

    June 18, 2009 Sent I-129F Package

June 23, 2009 USCIS in Vermont Service Center Received I-129F

    June 24, 2009 Check Cashed

    June 26, 2009 Received Receipt Number NOA1

  5. Hello everyone,

I'm just curious as to who might be petitioning someone from Franch with the I129-F K-1 fiancee visa. I'm petitioning my wife and she is from France. We sent our papers in June and received NOA1 days later. We haven't heard or gotten anything else since then.

Would it be a good idea to call USCIS and ask about it? Should I just keep waiting? I noticed that in their sight that the new time frame is now only 5 months long. We're coming up on three months now. I'm hoping we get something soon in the mail.

I would gladly appreciate all of your response.

    Very respectfully,

    Victor

  6. oh okay, thanks so much. i guess i didn't read the instructions very well. i remember what it said, but then again many people wrote about sending in so many things that i'm getting all caught up. never would have thought i'd be in this situation, to love someone so far away and the only thing holding us from starting a family is immigration laws. what can you do, you know. deal with it and move on. the day will come when we can all drink some eggnog and laugh about it.

    "this too shall past."

  7. I'm finishing off my natrulization interview this week at the court house so i will be receiving it this week. I've also recently been engaged and I'm trying to file a K-1 visa. I understand I have to send a lot of papers along with the I-129F, but since I don't a U.S. passport yet can I still send my petition?

Also, thanks so much for this website. I thought I would never find help online. I would suggests this site to anyone with the same situation.
