APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!! finally after almost a year decision date 1/13/2012 card received 1/23/2012

An update - Lawyer filed to reopen case 10 December, received letter from USCIS 20 December which said I was once again in removal proceedings and would receive a letter with a court date to appear before immigration judge. Now the good news 2 letters in mail today 1st said congratulations card ordered should received it within 60 days 2nd letter contained green card.

Whew!!!!!!!!!!!! nightmare over APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Denied waiver 10/26 reason that I have not sent them proof of divorce. I sent them final judgement of dissolution of marriage which is the divorce decree, thats all I can get, I asked court to send me a copy of my divorce decree they sent another final judgement which they said is the divorce decree, so USCIS are not reading it correctly. I have now got an immigration lawyer who has petitioned to have case reopened.

It may take up to 6 months from your date of filing to get your 10 yr card. We filed in November, did the biometrics in December and got approved in March.

Been over 6 months for me, still waiting

Got RFE 26th April sent reply 10th May as I had already sent in everything I had, I asked them to review on evidence already submitted hope there is enough.

I just moved and need to change my address with USCIS. Which form do I file? I filed for Removal of Conditions in December.

I moved from Missouri to Florida does anyone know if this will slow down my case? and will they move my case from CSC to VSC does anyone know?

I haven't asked our attorney yet. I just received it in the mail yesterday and I figured we would go through the I-751 process on our own since it seemed simple enough (and, thereby save us a good amount of money)...little did I realize that a mistake that was not our own, would cause this to not be so simple, lol.

My husband does not have a passport...it was already expired at the time he was granted his green card.

Does everyone think we are ok just sending back the packet with the green card...I noticed that in the letter they sent back they also marked the one line item which states "a copy of the green card was not included" and they crossed out "copy". So I guess I don't even think I need to redo the app...I will leave the one they have that they marked with their notes, and I guess all we need to do is toss in the green card and mail the packet again. Stinks because now we have to pay for shipping all over again!!

They need the card back because it has an error on it. I had to send mine back to them because they had given me a middle intial on my card, I was without mine for 4 weeks because I had to have biometrics done again before they could issue me with a new card so as you have to have biometrics done for the new 10 year card he will probably be without it until then.

Hi -- My wife and I are really worried right now and I am hoping you could help us.

On December 27, 2010 we submitted the form I-751 along with the $590 to remove the conditions on my wife's residence. On January 4, 2011 we received the NOA from USCIS with a receipt number, receipt date, and the amount received listed. We were getting worried since my wife never received a biometrics schedule so we looked up the status of her application on the USCIS web site. We also called the customer service number and used the automated system. Both systems tell us that the receipt number (the number listed on the NOA sent by USCIS) cannot be found. What does this mean? Did they lose our application? My wife's status expires in one month...are we going to have to submit another application? Are we going to have to pay $590 again?

Has anyone heard of this happening or have experienced this situation? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Obviously we are going to try calling on Tuesday but would like to try to get some information before then.

Your help/comments/advice would be greatly appreciated!

Your NOA1 receipt number for I-751 wont work on USCIS system, when you get your biometrics appointment letter it will have a new number on it, the new number will work on the system.

Received my ASC appointment notice today (dd 2/3/11).

Hello guys! I called NVC tonight and the operator told me that NVC is giving me a schedule for December because there are no more slots for November at the US Embassy Manila. The operator also told me that NVC do the scheduling every 2nd week of the month... I need to wait until 2nd week of November to have the interview date and that is also what the operator told me... they will send the appointment letter also by 2nd week of November. I am really wishing that i can be with my husband on Christmas.

NVC always say that and for most people that is true, you should get your interview date for before Christmas because most Consulates do not work over the holidays, so don't give up hope you may get an early date in December and could still be done in time to be together for Christmas.

Definately would not get the vaccine, some doctors have stated publicly that they would not have the shot which could be more dangerous than the swine flu itself.

I have been reading a lot about the H1N1 and with so much evidence showing it was manufactured in a labratory by a pharmaceutical company who will make millions from the vaccine with no legal liability if vaccine causes any harmful side effects or is deadly.

If you answered yes for Social Security card on DS-230 it should come in a couple of weeks and the green card in 2 or 3 weeks,,,

Then you need to adjust status in 21 months...

I answered yes on DS-230 and still waiting, they said 6-8 weeks wait for SSN. Perm Resident Card arrived within 2 weeks.

Hi all - well we are now together, but we have a new problem. We applied for a ss card a couple of days after he arrived. We planned on marrying right away and filing for the AOS. However - we are being advised by the ss administration that we are going to have to wait six weeks to receive a ss #. Has anyone else experienced this? Please help.

Received an information paper when I arrived that said I would receive SSN within 3 weeks and to call if I didn't. Wellll I didn't and when I called they said it normally takes 6-8 weeks.
