Had my interview yesterday 11/12 at the OKC field office. I was called in at approximately 9:15am by the IO,a very pleasant lady who asked thrice if I had studied for the test. Once in her office, I was told to raise my right hand and swear which I did. After swearing, she administered the civics test and my questions were:
1. Name two US holidays?
2. Where is the Statue of Liberty?
3. Current governor of my state?
4. Who was the first president?
5. What movement tried to end racial discrimination?
6. What is one promise you make when you become a US citizen?
She told me to read Who lives in the White House and write the President lives in the White House.
She then asked questions from the application and after answering, she asked me to sign which I did. She gave me a letter with the recommended for approval box ticked, made copies of proof that I paid my tickets, told me to expect oath letter in six weeks and ushered me out of the door. Very straightforward experience.

My field office is Oklahoma City, OK, same as yours, but I belongs to Oct 2014 filer.
Two days ago, I checked processing time for N400 of Oklahoma City field office, it says 9.6 months (updated on Aug 31) !!! I thought that Oklahoma may be the slowest office of the country.
However, when I read your timeline, it is not that bad. 6 months waiting after Biometric is quite long, but your interview schedule is quite quick.
I filed my N400 end of Oct, the check was just cashed yesterday and still awaiting for NOA letter. A long long way to go for me..................
BTW, please share your experience after your interview. Be well prepared and good luck.

My Oath Ceremony Experience:
I arrived at 26 Federal Plaza at 10:50am with my family and a friend - I was told to be there for 11:00am. I had already checked off the form earlier in the morning and signed it when I got there. My guests were seated at the back and I was told to hand in my permanent resident card and my expired employment authorization card at a window; the immigration worker took my form, drew a line across it and wrote something in red - I didn't read what it stated. Anyway, I was seated at the front row and on each seat was a package for each new citizen. Just before the ceremony started, the supervisor came to me and told me that my husband was so proud that I was becoming a citizen that he had to delay the ceremony just to request permission to take pictures of me. She said she couldn't help but allow him to do so. LOL.
The ceremony began about 15-20 minutes later and before the speaker began her address she called my husband to sit at the side of the podium in the front so that he could take pictures. During her speech, she personally congratulated me and mentioned again how my husband held up the ceremony just for me
. Anyway, during the ceremony, we sang the anthem, said our oath, watched a short welcome speech from the president, and also the "God Bless the USA" video. We were congratulated on becoming citizens and were given our naturalization certificates. New citizens were allowed to take pictures, and there was an area with a six-foot tall Statue of Liberty and a sign that read "# New US Citizen" where we could take pictures. We also took pictures beside a large US flag. It was an awesome experience. Below is a 40 second portion of the address as the speaker welcomed me as a new citizen of the USA. I will be applying for my passport, registering to vote, and updating my status at Social Security next week.

Congrats Maritoni! Also sharing my interview experience from yesterday, we pretty much had the same procedure except the IO asked me the civic questions in the end. My interview time was 10:15am, signed in at 10:03 then after 2 minutes the IO called my name, he was really nice and didn't felt nervous at all. My interview questions were :
1. What group of people was taken to America and sold as slaves?
2. How many amendments does the constitution have?
3. What is the highest court in the US?
4. Who is the Vice-president of the US now?
5. Why did the colonist fight the British?
6. What territory did the US buy from France in 1803?
He then said congratulations, your application has been recommended for approval, there's one more officer that needs to sign and check to make sure we have everything we need from you. If we need anything else we will let u know , if not then you will be receiving a letter stating your schedule for your oathtaking ceremony! He then let me sign more papers and made copies of my id's, and that's it!! It was really easy and prolly took like 15 mins. Good luck to everyone!! Xoxo

My interview is July 12 I did not change my license because I did not plan to drive in NY and was only going to stay here for 20 months. I did not worry about this until I got my yellow letter yesterday requesting state id. Now is late to get the new one on time so based on prior experiences could someone advise what is best: to attend interview with old license or present a temporary no photo drivers license or Id from NY. You have to surrender your old license that is why I am having this dilemma. I have lease agreement and bank staments to prove the three month residence.
I think you can apply for state ID which is not a driving license. That way you have a state ID for where you live and still keep your license that you currently have..

I went to my naturalization interview today June 17,2014, My interview was slated for 12:00 noon, got there at 11:30, a lady guard then asked me to put my appointment letter on the tray #2 ,I then sat to the waiting area and patiently waited my turn, the room had about 5 applicants and some folks with their lawyers and family, i was called in 12:02 to be exact by this very Nice IO, very pleasant and accommodating, ask me to swear prior to sitting and requested my green card and DL and said are you ready?Was a little nervous after all the good and bad experiences i read and heard about, i responded yes and He said we are going to do the hard part first and started with the questions:
1.Who wrote the declaration of Independence?
2.Who is the Commanding in Chief of the military?
3.What is the political party of the President now?
4.What are the two major political Parties in the US?
5.There were 13 original states.Name three
6.Name one state that boarders mexico.
He then give me a line that reads; "Who elects the congress" and have me write "We the People elects the congress"..
He went thru my N-400 line by line and have me signed my N-400 and my passport photo and then give me a paper that said had a checked mark you passed the civis test and also checked congratulation you have been granted for approval, and handed me my Oath appointment letter,and shook my hand ,congratulated me and escorted me out pleasantly ..... to summarize my experience i will say this man was the nicest IO, all documents i prepared stayed right in my bag and amazingly, my experience was a piece of cake and not even a little bit of difficulty, he realize i was nervous when i entered his office and said" just relax "you`ll be fine..It took 15 minutes for the whole interview.

Please clarify.. I'm trying to file for a n-400 I came across this website named us-immigration..the website ask some questions and came up with a result that I'm eligible for us citizenship then it asked for my credit card information and at the right side there is $199? I already search for us-citizenship i knew that I need to pay $680 but not $199... thanks....
I may be wrong but that is probably their fee for guiding you to fill the N-400. The 680 for USCIS will be added to that.

It will say that you have been scheduled and you will be receiving a letter. The letter is the only thing that tells you the date of the interview.

And the argument continues. I had tickets less than 500, disclosed them and included proof of payment despite the form saying no need to include them. I think USCIS should just say on the form that if your citation is for moving and/or parking violation and the punishment was a fine less than $500 and/or points on your DO NOT DISCLOSE will put this issue to rest once and for all..

His one month visit will not invalidate his continuous residency and physical presence requirements if he applies as spouse of us citizen. Let him just file when he returns from his visit.
