I am going to be a May filer!

I have just talked to Brian my fiance and he has all the forms and evidences of our relationship to file. I spent all last month putting together all the cards and pictures and evidences for him to send. He say he will work on the forms this weekend and send Monday!

I am so nervous and excited!

Hi myEnglishheart. Congratulations on your engagement! My fiance had to leave Hong Kong last month as he finished his work assignment. I was so sad! He took me to nice dinner at expensive restaurant and surprised me with a big diamond ring! It is so beautiful but I can't wear it while I am working.

I am a legal resident of Hong Kong where I have lived for 4 years. Do I need to submit proof with out application to get an interview in Hong Kong?

Interview can take place where you are a RESIDENT, if you have a resident visa for Hong Kong, then you can interview in Hong Kong, if not then interview will be in Manila.

Note you will need police certs from both places if you have been resident in HK for more than 6 months.

Yes I agree with that advice. My wife lived in Macau and she took her interview in Hong Kong. Just tell your fiance to put down the Hong Kong consoulate. Also make sure they do it right, they sent all the paper work to Manila from the NVC so I had to have them transfer the paper work to Hong Kong.

I am new to this website and learning about visa process to come to the USA and be with my fiance. He is getting all the paperwork together!

I am a filipina but I am working in Hong Kong. I know I need to have an interview but what I need to know is whether I will have to go back to the Philippines to have interview or whether I will have it at the embassy here in Hong Kong? If I have to go back I will need to ask my employer for time off work and need to give them a lot of notice.
