  1. Hi! i'm a new member! ;)

anyway,... we just received NOA1 2 days ago. My papers was sent on 2nd week of February 2009 and I was wondering,.. how long will we have to wait to hear anything about the NOA2?

I was looking at the graphs provided to know about the timeline processing but i get confused looking at the graphs :(

Perhaps you can explain it to me  ,... how to read those graphs or if it's not going to be too much of a hassle,.. :help: please tell me how long the processing is going to be?

    Thanks so much guys!!

Fill in your timeline and it will give you an estimation on when you can expect your NOA2.

  2. Can anyone tell me what info I should get from Igor's list, I have gone from 491 to 493, that has to be a bad thing?

It's not a bad thing, it means more people have completed their timelines and their applications was approved before yours. Don't panic.

Igor's list is not the real queue at USCIS.

  3. FINALLY DANI & CHRIS ARE APPROVED, CHRIS JUST CALLED ME TO TELL ME WE GOT ONE LETTER THAT WE'RE STILL N BACKGROUND CHECK AND THE NEXT LETTER WAS THE NOA2, THEY ARE BAD TILL THE END, WE GOT BY POST MAIL OHH I HAVE BEEN CRYING, SCREAMING, AND SO HAPPY THAT I BELIEVE ITS NOT TRUE, THANK GOD OUR PAIN IS OVER

  5. Can somebody tell me what is "Security checks" and why some people get stuck in them?

I think it's where they run your name through various databases to see if you are wanted for anything :innocent: . If you have a common name it may take longer, but I think some people get stuck at this stage just cos!

I was reading about this yesterday but can't remember where I found the information - maybe trying searching for 'security checks' to see what comes up on VJ.

    Thank you! :star:

I don't think my name is common at all...hope we won't get stuck in this nonsense.

  6. Wow. That would be fantastic (for you) if they never cash it.

I had a similar experience a few months ago. I went to pay rent and asked how much. The amount she told me was over $600 less than it should've been. I checked with the leasing office three times about this, but no one ever knew exactly why that happened. Fortunately, no one ever charged me either.... so extra $600+ for me!

Haha don't you just love it when stuff like that happens?

I still have the feeling they will catch up on their mistake but I won't mind saving myself 450 bucks

I just don't want bad karma....

  7. Just a quick question: Where do you see if your case has been touched or not? Does it says so when you check your case online?

If you are registered in the USCIS web site, then you log in and there is a date that would change if you have a touch. I think it says last updated right next to your case number.

Good luck to another person from Bulgaria. Wish you speedy journey.

Thank you so much! Speedy journey to you guys as well! (F) (F)
