OMG, I literally just received the following email from USCIS!:

On May 19, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application.

I actually had to read it a couple times to be sure! Wow, I still think I'm seeing doubles.

I guess this will give the rest of VSC applicants some hope that things are speeding up at that center!

VCS is slow so waiting is the only solution. i think you need to submit what you have among recommended documents. no need to resend all.

i was on the same boat.My suggestion is to write Jan to make everything consistent. Some rules are very important to comply , a few one are relax such as address.

I read that for Vermont it takes up to 6 weeks!

When you originally sent your paper, and go the RFE. Did you by any chance happen to send your taxes incomplete, without some of the attachments? I ask this because I have been doing some reach and think that mostly people get a RFE because they summit their taxes incomplete. I have the idea that in most cases the uscis send you a RFE because they need the attachment to try and see if your taxes add up, and are genuine. If this were the case, it could be a very good idea to also send them tax transcripts.

--> whatever forms i submit to IRS, I just copy and send them to uscis.

i didn't remember how many statements i sent. Oh, i see a regular envelop inside it. so it meant i only send rental agreement? because it can't hold many documents inside standard envelope. I just found 8 pages of rental agreement.

i originally submitted:

+ tax 2009, 2010 with w2 and all forms support

+ auto insurance

+ health insurance register

+ bank statement

+ credit card statement

+ affidavit of witness

+ 5-6 photo

+ copy of credit cards and debit cards

I didn't send rental agreement ( which includes phone and utility)

Residence: Submit evidence of communal residence. This documentation should reflect the names of both the conditional permanent resident and their U.S. citizen spouse. Such evidence may include but is not limited to the following:

•

Copies of mortgage agreements, deeds, or rentalleasesl agreements showing joint tenancy at a

common residence signed by the conditional resident, the U.S. spouse and the owner(s) of the

property (or the property manager) .

•

Copies of utility bills such as telephone, gas, electric, water, cable, Internet, etc. or other statements issued in both names indicating the residential address.

•

If applicable, submit copies of military Basis Allowance for Quarters (BAQ) form for housing and/ or

DD Fonn 1172 for dependent military dependent cards.

•

Any other documentation which shows that the marriage was not entered into in order to circwnvent

U.S. immigration laws.

I don't know what to send now. Please advise. tks.
