Hey guys I listed the embassy to process the visa in Munich, but I found that it is in Frankfurt. Will this have any effect on my visa, or will they forward this to Frankfurt anyways?

so we (im military) can't get our K1 Visa expedited unless we're deploying? I already deployed and I'm coming up on my 4th year in the military, does that count for anything?

Hey guys, I see that they want to look into my bank account when I put in that K1 Visa for my fiance in Germany. Does that mean I need a certain amount of money in the account to get this visa approved? I'm only a soldier and I really don't have much money saved up.

In the military I get extra pay to support dependents, which would be her, and thats all I have really.

Help me with this question please!

This happens all the time though, I come from a Cambodian family so I always hear of people doing it for money, then they get the green card and divorce. But its all mutual. They must've hated her or she just really messed up with the whole "commercial marriage scam" thing going on.

Hey I was applying for a K1 visa for my fiance in Germany, I turned everything in and they had sent it all back to me because they did not recieve my check that I forgot to put in there. And this was in March 5 2009. Can I still send all my papers in with the money or is it too late? Should I just start a new packet and send them all of that, I think it might be better since i have more pictures and proof since she came and visited me a couple weeks ago.

Need to know what you guys think/know before I send it in. Thanks.

I sent in the k1 visa but it got rejected because of the wrong amount of funds. But I see that theres a red letter 'R' on the barcode where the case number is at. DOes that mean that its not in the system at all?

Hey guys I turned in my I-130F but it came back because the payment wasnt in there(someone stole it), but at the top there is a 13 digit case number that doesnt appear on the website tracking. I was just thinking me and my fiance would just meet in Las Vegas and get married while we're having fun there. What do you guys think?

Hey guys I sent in the I 129F and G325A with Passport photos of her and me with the names marked on the back of them. And several pictures of us together but none of the pictures has any markings or dates on the back of them. Will this be an issue?

Also I didn't send it with a cover letter and out letters of intent really didnt look like the ones posted up in the examples. So, I'm scared they will send it back.

I mean, I've sent in everything filled out correctly, I hope that was all I needed at the time. Will it get accepted now??

Cover letters are optional, but a good thing. They will not send an RFE for a cover letter. Intent letter can be any way you want as long as you get around to saying you intend to marry within 90 days of her arrival. No problem.

For my petition I sent ONE photo, not date stamped and not in an identifiable location. If you go to my profile you will see the exact photo I sent. I also sent a two sentence description of our meeting, no description of anything else ('cause they didn't ask) and my passport stamps and boarding passes. We were approved without RFEs. I guess we looked enough alike to our passport photos and I had enough back up to be where I said I was that they accepted the obvious meeting was within two years. I think too much is made of "time stamped" photos and identifiable locations anyway. My camera (if not all) lets me set the date and time, so if I wanted to "dummy up" a date I sure could. My guess is USCIS knows this. You have no need to take the photo, for instance, in front of the Eiffel Tower, because it doesn't matter where you meet, only that you did and it was within two years.

Remember, you need only give plausible evidence you have met within two years for the petition, you will need more later. I think you will have no problem. If I am wrong, they will let you know.

Yeah I have no time stamps on anything at all. I only sent them pictures and she put in a plane ticket when she came visited me. I didnt include a description of our meeting either, I didnt know that was suppose to be in there until now.

Not making copies could be a problem for future reference. You didn't even make a copy for your fiancee?

No I havent. I jsut have copies of everything thats filled out but no signatures. I knew I had made a mistake when I sent it in, but I just couldnt figure it until i saw this website.

If they need something more they will ask for it, don't worry and good luck.
