  3. Hello again everyone,

    Here it is!

Last December 22,2009 USCIS sent us email saying they mail us a letter for additional evidence for my case, until now we didn't receive

any. So, I checked again this morning online my case and I received this email saying :

DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS E-MAIL ***

The last processing action taken on your case

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: DOCUMENT OTHER THAN CARD OR TRAVEL DOCUMENT MAILED TO APPLICANT

On January 4, 2010, your document I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was processed and mailed to the address on record. If you have not received it within 30 days of January 4, 2010, contact our customer service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move while your case is pending, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

I am really confused now what is going on on my case. I decided to call USCIS and they said that my mailed get back to their office and mailed it again to my new address! Just wondering why this new email they didn't mention about RFE,is this really how they do it? Confused!!

  4. I got a text on Dec 25 saying they issued an RFE on Dec 24. It arrived in the mail on Saturday (Jan 2).

Yours has taken a bit longer & I def understand your frustration. When I called USCIS last week wondering where mine was, they suggested making an Infopass appointment to get a copy of it.

I did that Saturday morning, only to get the RFE in the mail Saturday evening.

Thank you NatPatBen for your respond :) Ya, I'm wondering where is the mail now. I called last week in the USCIS customer service, but the automated machine told me that the customer agents doesn't have any latest information other than the RFE last December 22. :(

  5. Hi all,

We processed my AOS last week of July 2009. We moved to a different state last October (changed my address ) it didn't work out to that state so, we decided to go back to our previous state (changed address again ). Now, we received an email saying that, they sent as a MAIL listing all the details about our RFE the date that they said was December 22 but until today, NO MAIL YET :(

I am wondering here for those who received an RFE too, of when really I am going to receive the MAIL? Tomorrow will be two weeks since they mailed it. By the way, they already mailed us a respond to our new address. Just worried why 'til now I don't have it yet .

Thanks so much for your time and responses!

Lots and lots of food cravings like turon, budbod (in visaya) I don't know the tagalog of it,orange na buko, palamig yong maraming kulay,halo-halo nang Ice castle, gulaman, piritong isda talagang danguet. ,I got a lot of foods going on inside my head and very frustrating it's because most of them are not here. :crying:

Any suggestions if they can send it to me?I looked at the asian stores already here in Indianapolis, but really nothing :( Anyone here tried receiving foods from the Philippines? Is it possible for them to send it to me? Just wondering if maybe someone had experienced the same thing. How did they send it,what do they used to do it?

    Thanks a lot..

You are in Indianapolis, If you can handle about a 90 minute drive to Cincinnati, I would suggest:

My wife loves this place and they have a nice selection of foods from the Phillippines.... Fruits, Vegetables, sauces, pancit and all kinds of things. It takes me two hours to pull my wife out of there.

Maybe it's time to take a trip, hehehehe, they have balut there too.. *ugh she tricked me into eating some the other day too, the second bite had me gagging!!

Wow!! I missed balut pinoy!! God it's very far though :( I will try to ask favor to my husband for a TRIP!! heehee

  10. Hello VJ'ers..

From the start of this topic,I told myself I am not going to read this until I am pregnant,,and now obviously I am dahil nagpost nako at last sa topic nato.. I feel a little awkward dahil layo na naabot nang topic nito, pero kinapalan ko nalang mukha ko dahil excited akong subra sa coming baby namin.. Yesterday lang namin nalaman na buntis pala ako, I thought period ko parating dahil ang symptoms same lang, except sa cramping na akala ko my cycle na talaga ako,but lang lumabas, kaya bumili kami nang pregnancy test. Tatlo ginamit namin lahat yon positive :D Subrang happy ko dahil akala ko hindi ako madaling buntisin kasi nga yon sabi nang doctor nong nasa Pilipinas pako dahil hormonal imbalance ako. Pero ngayon,,I am very very very happy to tell you guys na magiging nanay nako soon.

Schedule naming mapacheck-up sa doctor ngayong Wednesday, sana ang lahat saking at sa baby ko,kahit dugo pa to, excited na talaga ako, kain nako nang kain dahil ayaw kong magutom baby ko.. :D

Sana ok lang sa inyo na nakikipost ako dito :)

    God bless you all ..

  11. I am filing for a change of address A-11 and I came across with the last question, "If not a Permanent Resident,my stay in the U.S. expires on: (Date - mm/dd/yyyy)." I'm confuse because I filed I-485 and I already received my employment authorization card.My I-94 expired in September. What will I put on that question? Or should I leave it blank....

Thanks for your time and advice. :)

When I filled out mine I put "other" and stated I-485 pending.

Thanks cloudy9... that make sense to me :D

  13. Hello, :) I think it is really in an asian food store, I didn't try to look for that though, because I am not using MSG or vetsin, nor magic sarap.. Actually, if you will know how to timing when you're cooking on meat, sea foods or vegetables, the tastes of those foods will come out naturally, you don't need anything else to make it tasty :D Just my thought..

  14. In my experienced,, I just used my MNL number to have my medical since I am aware that I will go through the sputum for two months, just to save some days of waiting. I am not having anything else other than my MNL number.(no email info from embassy. )

Your fiancee can do the same thing .

Good luck to your journey. You're close now to be together :)

  15. Pimping is not an appropriate word.

If someone would search the internet:

Pimp means one who finds customers for a prostitute; a procurer.

Pimped, Pimp·ing - To serve as a procurer of prostitutes.

If the women here in VJ met their husbands by pimping themselves in the internet... is Linda suggesting that those women are prostitutes.

I would disagree calling the women who met their husbands/fiance in the internet prostitute....

Would this be a TOS violation

    I agree :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:
