Can anyone tell me how to check ELIS status. My has been here for a month and we still haven't gotten her green card yet. I paid the ELIS fee before she even came. How can i check the status of her green card. I have no receipt number for her green card. Your response is truly appreciate it. Thank you

Go to your country Embassy website. You will find their contact

You should send email to the Ambassy and explain the situation to them. They might still have the case there. Good luck.

Sorry. This happen to me before. It took a total of 5 months to ge the case complete at NVC. Good luck

I totally agree with you Mallafari76. I had lots of issue with NVC and finally my case was complete and my mom had her interview date. I know how you guys feel because i have been through it. Just pray, keep fait. Finally that's what i did and i got through. NVC is the worst government agency i have seen in US. There is no accountability for what they do. Representatives are so rude, and people that are review our cases most of time don't even know what they are doing. Hang in there guys, it will all be worth

I did. However i'm the only one from my country here which u would think the Ambassy is not really busy. Nope, i still haven't gotten the interview date for my mom.

How do you check for status such as ready,or in transit? When i log into my account, i can only see the fees that were paid and DS 261 completed. Is that the same place where those as shown?

Expect 60 days for supervisor review. I was in the same boat. I got a checklist for a document i did send. When you call , they will tell you expect 42 days fir supervisor review when in fact it takes longer than 42 days. I was under supervisor review from April 24 th, until june 25 th. Make sure you sent whatever they ask before supervisor gets to your case, that's what i did. Otherwise you will be disappointed again. Just FYI

I called NVC today and was told that my mom's case was completed on june 25 . I know it's not over yet, but i'm sure glad that it's closer to be done with NVC. I've been through a long 4 months agony, and upset. NVC IS the worst government agency i've ever dealt with. Now i'm just waiting for the interview letter. Who knows when that one will be sent. Maybe another 4 months

I feel your pain. I'm in the same situation. I got a checklist for a document that i already sent. I asked for supervisor review on April 24 th, and i was told it would take 42 days. Then i resent the document anyway. My 42 days went abd passed already, and until now my case is still not complete. I feel ur pain but be thankful that u r getting close to the ebd. My case has been with NVC since Feb 12 th, and is still there because someone doesn't know how to do his job

Yup. My case has been there since first week of february. I got a checklist in May, then i sent what was asked, but until now nothing. They keep tell me different stories everytime i call. This process is so stupid and unpredictable

I resent the document and my new scan date is 5/12 but i still haven't gotten a case complete yet. I have decided not to call anymore. You call , you wait for sn hour and then when representative gets on the, they are so rude. Whatever happens, happens. My case has been with NVC fir 4 months now, and nothing so far. Then i have to wait for months for interview letter. It kinda screwed up all my plans, now i'm prepare to whatever. No more expectations

Welcome to the long waiting game

Hey buddy i feel your pain. I'm in the same boat. I feel like giving up on this government agency. I sent all my documents back in march, and received a scan date 03/17. After 50 days of wait. I received a checklist of a document that i already sent at first place. I asked for a supervisor review on April 24th. I was told by customer service representative that it would take 42 days. In the meatime i sent the document they wanted again and received a new scan date of 5/12. Until now i haven't gotten my case complete, and my supervisor review hadn't even been looked at yet. What a incompetent agency. Customer service rep are so rude , and they can care less about how you feel. I even got hung up today. What can i do about it? Nothing. They don't care. They can go home to their loved ones everyday while we are waiting for our loved ones. I'm so sick of this whole process. In the meantime i see people that are getting case complete in 30 days and pkus interview date already, while my case is still pending for 4 months. How's that fair?

Yep. But i will take 60 days for supervisor to review the case. Stupid government agency
