Ok, my wife is here on a CR-1 Visa. I know I need to apply for something else to for her to stay here, but I'm not certain if it is AOS, or a removal of conditions. Which application do I need to submit - An I-698, or I-485, or I-751?

Each sponsor must be able to prove they make 125% of the poverty limit.

You can't combine 2 people's incomes to make that 125%. Sorry, hope I didn't bust the bubble.

My new wife and I are filling out the forms to adjust her status to permant resident (I-864, I-435). We just married on the K-1 fiance visa.

I will use my father for a joint sponser as I dont show income on my tax returns (self emploeyed). I do have plenty of assets though. Do I name him as the #1 sponser, and me #2? Do I show zero income but still fill out the assets page etc? If he does not live in the household, is that a problem?

A sample set of joint sponser sheets would be helpful as well.

There are no "joint sponsor sheets". The petitioner is always the primary sponsor. You and your father would each follow the I-864 instructions and provide an I-864 and supporting documentation. If your liquid assets are more than three times the minimum income requirement, you probably don't need a joint sponsor though. The I-864 instructions are excellent. I suggest you begin by carefully studying them.

If a joint sponsor doesn't earn enough can my wife have two joint sponsors like my sister and my father? Who combined salary would be more than a 125 % together?

On question number 15: 'Name and address of current employer' is that question for me or my wife?

You posted this to the K-1 forum which has to do with initial filing of I-129F.

I-134 is the form that needs IRS return data and is needed at the time of interview, not when you file the I-129F.

It helps knowing how far along in the process that you are, and what country you are dealing with.

You can always file a ZERO return to the IRS, and atach a copy of that return to the I-134, in this case it is assumed that you will be using a co sponsor.

We are in Brazil, I am currently living here with my wife and we are just starting the k3 visa process. I'm curious to know about the IRS portion and how to get documentation that I did not have to file a federal tax return. My Father and Sister will be the joint sponsors for my wife.
