I am so glad to share my good news with all my VJ's family. My husband had his interview today in Lagos, I received a call at 4:46 this AM, and he told me his interview was a sucess. He said the CO was nice, she asked him about five questions. My husband was well prepared I mail him all phone bills, text messages, photos, etc. He said he had the photo album in his hand and the CO requested to see it. She looks at the photo and ask him when we took the photo and who was the people in the photo with us. While she was looking at the photo, she ask him for prove of relationship. My husband said he was about the hand her the phone bill and texts, and the CO told him he should hold it for later. After that she was taping and left her seat and when at the back, when she came back to her desk, she told him congrats and for him to pick up his visa next 11/25/09. The Co didn't even look at the phone bill and text. I am so excited and can't wait to see my husband soon. Thanks again to all my VJ's family for all the great advise i received at this site. My journey has come to an end. lol..............

Congrat, It is possible to get an early interview date after your case is completed depending on the country you are interviewing in. Do you mine me asking which country is it?

Hello guyz, first of all would like to thank God for all His blessings! And want to thank you also for all the help that you have extended through this forum. Had my interview yesterday at the US Embassy in Manila at 830 am. And thank God it's approved!!! To all of you, thank you and goodluck to all who will be having their interviews.... will post later my interview experience including the questions..... Have to go to church first and thank God....

My I-130 was approved on 7/20/09. I called NVC this evening and my case number was assign today. I spoke to an agent after i received the case number just to confirm the number i hear was right, and i asked the agent if it will be acceptabe to email the DS-3032 and she said yes. I called my husband this evening, to share the good news, he didn't answer, cuz he was asleep. I was hoping he did. I will call him tomorrow morning and tell him to email the DS-3032 to NVC.

So, my husband goes to the embassy with his passport expecting the visa stamp, Guess What? After all of the Hell that they've already put my husband through, they took the passport and said, "We've gotta check someting else, we'll call you". They kept his passport! I'll tell you something my faith will not be shaken at all!!!

i need help updating my timeline can somebody pls help me.

hi, i was reading about the Pre-NVC / Preparing Documents Before NVC Processing. i want to start collecting document, my first question is, my SO reside in nigeria, how can he goes about obtaining the Police Clearance Certificate and the medical when the time reach for him to submit the documents. Do the the embassy sent him or does he makes his own appontment.

Secondly, when the time reaches, the Marriage certificate, birth certificate, Police Certificate; passport biographic page are all these documents mail to NVC or are the documents present to the CO during the interview? if the original documents are mail, do the CO return the the original birth and marriage certificate?

anybody who have knowledge about this can help, but i really want someone who went through the visa process in nigeria to respond.
