  1. You should send the tax form that was filed with the IRS and the supporting documents of the W2 and 1099's. If the petitioner is self-employed they may request further information from previous years. I hope this helps

Ok. So 2 weeks ago i submitted the RFE for my sponsor's/household member's most recent income tax return. I only included their W-2s the first time i sent the AOS package so the first RFE was for their 2009 income tax return. Now I got a letter for another RFE saying I need to submit my household member's supporting tax documentation (W-2s, 1099, etc.) when I actually sent her W-2 with the AOS package and her 1099G (since she only has her form 1099G for unemployment benefits.) So can anyone advise me as to what I should be sending?

  2. In a few hours Anna Marie will board plane to come here. After working for this for over five years, it still hasn't sunk in yet that this is it. That won't happen until we are back together.

Wanted to thank everyone very there well wishes and support through this process.

  5. Got our interview date. Called today to get an interview, I guess they're not busy at all. They wanted to schedule it for next Monday the 13th. But the Medical would need to be one week before the interview date SO we are set for the following week of July 20 @ 7 am.

Our journey is finally coming to an end. After such a long time with the annulment case and everything. It hasn't sunk in yet. That this happening I don't think it will really sink in until I watch Anna walk up the ramp into the terminal at LAX

    Thanks everyone.

  7. I just wanted to write in to say that I received my NOA2 :)

I received the notification e-mail today, June 21 (Sunday). Maybe they really do work on the weekends! My stomach flipped when I saw my case number in my inbox. I am so excited but most of all... relieved!

I noticed that another filer with NOA1 date of March 2 (like me) also got approved, so I am positive all of us March/California people will have heard something before another month passes. It can't be much longer for those of you who filed less-than-2 weeks after I did.

I very sincerely wish you all the luck possible... but you may not need "luck" since the rules of logic put you next in line!

Hey Congrats you guys. We also got approved today (June 21) was approved on Friday. I actually thought after things closed on Friday it would be next week maybe until approval, but I looked on the website and had to do a double take when I saw that the date changed from when the file was updated. I took a deep breath and checked the status hoping that there wasn't an RFE. There is was APPROVED wow it was great this has been a real long time coming, since Anna's annulment case in the Philippines took over four years and 3 months. Since reading the approval I haven't come down yet.

But congrats guys very excited to hear the good news.

  8. Just got word this morning we have been approved as of June 19th. We got our NOA1 on March 2nd, so all of you who have dates around that time get ready yours will be coming soon.

Thanks to everyone for their support. We both have been waiting a very long time for this and we are one step closer. After five years of being together lots tears and day after day of checking the "status" we finally are one step closer.

    :dance::dance:

    Thanks everyone.

  9. I want to hear something... come on, work on the March 2nd's... see they most definitely do not work on them "in the order received"

I shouldn't have splashed out all the cash on overnighting my package! I should have just thrown the money on a campfire because it would have the same efficiency.

I am happy that they are moving though and happy for those of us getting adjudicated.

I want my husband damn it >:(

Here here totally agree. Only one person from the 2nd got approved so far. Let's get moving

  10. I'm pissed! My timeline is not showing a tentative adjudication date. AGAIN! What the he-haw is going on? When and why won't our approval letter just come in the mail already! What the heck is the hold-up now? It has been 3 months, today. In 3 months the February people were warming beds and buying airfare for their SO's. Although it was great for them, why postpone out lives now USCIS? WHY?! I wish you all diarrhea, headaches, and a fever (my mother always told me to never wish upon others what I couldn't tolerate myself). So there... Anyone else frustrated? Is anyone else losing hope and feeling alone and helpless? Does anyone else feel that this is futile and that our lives and our breaths are numbered and that the days we spend without our SO's is one that doesn't seem like we have been alive? I am soo tired emotionally and physically from all of this. I was on a workout and diet regime, but now I feel like there is no hope. Am I the only one that can't see the rainbow and the end? I just don't see it... I'm sorry....

With out a doubt this is the a very frustrating thing. I think first off, that you cannot look at others getting approved. Your case is unique and is being processed. As someone who has already been on this journey since May of 2004. We waited over four years for her annulment case to get through the court and we only began the petition in March of this year. The last time we had seen each other was two years and 1 month ago.

This is not lost time in your relationship. I know you would give the world to be together. When you can't be it seems as if there is a giant hole in your life.... this is the nature of love. Like purifying gold and it is taken through the fire it becomes purer and purer with each firing. The same goes with your relationship. Is it easy no... not at all, but this is not an unending goal it does have a finish line it will end. With each day and moment that goes by you're one day closer to being together.

How have we survived the journey. Simple take each day as it comes and like any journey keep putting one foot in front of the other. Before you know it this will be over with and you'll be together. This is not just a HOPE but rather it's a promise. I can tell you, you will make it. Hang in there.

  11. No one yet except Chadaporn & Neil which I understand was an expedited application. But with the averages right now and the processing time of 105 days, should be that anyone who got their NOA2 in the first week of March will be in that window... we can only hope.

From last week with the CSC office, that four applications were approved looking forward to seeing if they have started to approve applications again.

  12. i dont understand the time line, yesterday cali was at feb 13 and the day before it said feb 28 , now today it says feb 1 . how come its going backward? plez explain how this time line works thanks terri

Thank Terri and Jay... for the question. I have been watching the timelines for awhile and watching when someone gets approved the time that it took to get the NOA2. I think the main reason that the timeline dropped from Feb 23 and ultimately fell back to Feb 1st, was because there was an approval for a Application that took 372 days. When averaged with the other ones that had been approved pushed the number backwards. If you look at all the applications that were approved since Jan 1 through CSC it was 457 applications and it had an average of 110.8 days. So, watch the applications that are approved and how many days it took.

I know it's frustrating when this happens. But you should look at this as not a goal with no end. It will finish and realize that with each day that goes by you are one day closer to that goal and before you know it you'll be together again.

  13. I am going to be arriving in Manila Sunday around 11PM at night. Will the money changer at the airport be open that late? I will need money for a taxi. Thank you

With having gone over to PI three times in the past several years, I would highly recommend

#1. Do not take traveler checks with you, although they are to be safe, I found it was very difficult to find anyone to exchange them. When we did the prices they charged were terrible. Once out of a major city area no one at all exchanged them.

#2. Usually we found that the exchange rate that is charged is very poor, even at the airport. What we did was we used XOOM and transferred the funds directly from account to my fiancee' account they gave a much better exchange rate. The funds are transferred within minutes. and available to use right away.

Hope you have a great trip. It's a beautiful country and the people are even more beautiful.

  14. Although I just sent out the I-129F last week, I am look at beginning to put together the information needed for the I-134 Support Affidavit. I have a few questions though.

First off to give you some background, I was laid off from my position last year and went on Unemployment for about 6 months of the year. Once I saw that I may not find another position very quickly and with the fact that I had come accustom to eating. I began a business during the last Quarter of the year. Since than the business has done very well and is taking off actually even in a bad economy.

#1. Since the Affidavit wants to have the "current income", The major amount showing on the 2008 tax return will be the unemployment benefits and a little income from the Business. Can I include a Profit

and Loss report of the 1st and 2nd quarter of 2009 to show my present income? I was looking at including it and of course having it notarized and supported by the letter from my bank account

on what was deposited. I can easily show that my income is well above what is required.

#2. I understand that for the K-1 the I-134 is used. For the AOS, the I-864 is used and has stricter requirements. My question is what Percentage of the poverty level will they be looking for with the

I-134? I have heard two numbers of 100% and 125% of the poverty level.

#3. As a self-employed person am I required to give just the past year Tax return or other years also?

Thanks for your help with this.. before hand
