Don't know if this will make you feel better, but I just got my approval letter in the mail yesterday, my petition was filed Nov.3rd. I've updated my time line, but it has not shown up on Igor's list yet.
Oh yes, it's on the list.
Doesn't make me feel any better though.. It reminds me that some of us may have to wait for more than 6 months and be forced to talk to a senator!!

ja-ja, I know there are dozens\hundreds who are not VJ-ers. And those who are careless or delay with their timeline updating. But still.
The contradiction is in the fact that K1 processing seems to be proceeding (even improving a little) - according to this site again - but no approvals among VJ-ers.
Who said the approximate processing times are based on our timelines?
Contradiction. Where do they get these processing dates? Who said it's Jan 20th for Vermont today? VJ-ers' timelines that are exactly the same as they were 10 days ago?
Hey, I am not being driven nuts, not yet, it's just annoying..

The processing times for Vermont, K1, seem to be decreasing. Hope it stays this way!! But what's wrong with Igor's list!? 10 approvals of VJ members on the 30th of April and then
silence!!
Contradiction.
Or can it be that USCIS failing\forgetting\whatever to send e-mail notifications all of a sudden? What the hell..

Hello everyone. Recently noticed the mistake my fiancé (the applicant) made when completing the forms for K1.
G-325A. “Applicant’s residence last five years. List present address first.”
The fisrt two lines not impossible to be overlooked. It looks like this: he lived in such and such place from Sept2008 to Dec2009 (should be 2008!!!!) and then in such and such place from Dec2009 to Present time.
It’s obvious!! One can see it’s a stupid typo. But I bet the bureaucratic officials are as faultfinding as could be.
What do we do? We are 1,5months into the K1 process at Vermont. It’s annoying to sit back helplessly and wait for a RFE when you know you had made a mistake. Or is it so crucial?!
Vermont is taking ages these days just like that and a RFE would hold us back even longer than that!!
Please say what you think. Thank you.

Hello everyone. We are 1,5months into our K1 journey having filed at Verm service center. The thing is that my fiance’s residence has changed (moved to live in California). We are facing the option of contacting the USCIS about the change of address (there’s a standard procedure for that http://www.uscis.gov/files/article/F2eng.pdf ).
Option – because we may just skip this as his parents still live there and will keep us notified of all the mail for us from USCIS. What impact is it likely to have on the tortoise speed of their processing?
My fiancé is slightly worried that if we change the address, they might transfer our case to Calif SC and put it at the end of the line (not where we belong, having filed the petition in Febr.) Could still take a shorter time than Vermont, you know!!
So should we leave it as it is?
Thank you.

Hello Eric, I got registered on this forum just yesterday, so i am kind of surfing around. Thank you for the link to your blog website, there's so much, I will surely read it soon. My fiance and I just sent the K1 petition, so we are in the very beginning of this long waiting period. In a week's time he'll be coming from Europe to visit me for a short time, then go to Ventura, Calif., where he just got his new job. And I will come to him eventually, hopefully in autumn)) Gotta be patient, no other alternative))))) Good luck to you.

Hello there, anybody knows how to find friends? Can't find any websites. I am talking about those who came to the US on a K1/K3/whatever visa. What makes it hard at the moment is that we live a small town of Ventura, Ca. But it's so close to LA. How do I find real (as opposed to virtual) friends among those Russian women who came to the US? Anybody here from LA area? Pls let me know what you think. I miss the hearty communication in my language..
