    Hi John,

I'm doing well. I hope you too. Yep, my wife is ready for interview, we have done everything yet. Just waiting for one more 1 day and she will come to US Consulate for interview. I'm not in VN now, because I was there in Apr, so I can't manage annual leave right now, plus I need that time for her when she comes to the US. Thank you for your concern. Also good luck to your wife on Jun 9.

Good luck to all guys have interview in this July.

    Cheers,

    James & Han

  2. I spoke with my wife recently, and she told me additional information regarding the packet she recieved. She stated there was nine pages all written in english, so she could not totally understand what it involves. Not only that, but since there was no page regarding her interview date, she doesn't know when she has to come in for the interview. Is there a number she can call to find out her interview and also, does anyone know what those nine pages consist of and why she has to have them? It's discouraging to me to know they're sending information to her that she can't even understand, and I can't be there to help her. Can someone help me? How many pages has everyone else recieved when they got their packet4? I'm very concerned. People, please help me!!! Thank you everyone for your help and concern. John Nguyen

    Hi John,

It's right that the p4 has 9 pages, but maybe your wife is too nervous to recognize that p4 always is Vietnamese & English languages (both sides of every page). Just appoinment letter is only English version. If she cannot understand English, can you tell her scan them and send them to you by email, then you can help her to figure out. Its instruction is very clear, as well as Vietnamese subtiles. Be calm down, and look at them again, she will see all details.

    Good luck

    Hi John,

My wife just received p4 in hand today... And she is going to call IOM for medical exam appointment. How about you? One of my acquantance in HCMC also received p4 yesterday, even they submitted p3 on May 13, and their interview date is July 15, 2009. So, definitely your wife also has interview date. Good luck!!!

    Cheers,

    Han & James

  4. Hi

yeah the all team HCMC Consulate. do too slow , I hope will change the new team come up, But the tax personnal up

    Hi guys,

My fiancee also submited completed DS-230 part 1 & DS-2001 on May 4, 2009. We sent some emails to US consulate in HCMC but always get response that they are scheduling and will mail p4 once they set our appointment, please contact with them at the end of every month for further information. But today, she went to US consulate and they answered that we had interview date, that is July 6, 2009. So you should tell your fiancee go there and ask for. I'm sure that she also has interview date because your case is just behind from us 3 days. Hungry up and go there, and your fiancee need to prepare many things for interview. Good luck to all of us.

    Cheer,

    Han & James

  5. Thanks for the info. I guess i haven't been "touched" yet. that sux!

    Hi,

After getting NOA1 with reciept number, you can create account online on USCIS site by registering. The last updated means that "TOUCH". They also will send you email if your case has something new or you get NOA2. In my opinion, it works well because I got NOA2 on the date they send me email. You can try to do this and you will receive this suprised NOA2 some day.

Good luck to all of us.

  6. Hi guys,

Pls help me to answer this question.

After getting approval from USCIS, and then it will be transfered to NVC before comming to Consulate in Hochiminh - Vietnam, and then I will receive package 3 & 4 in order. And I have to submit my documents which Consulate requires in those packages, such as birthday certificate, police certificate, affidavit of single, ect. I want to know that will I need to translate them into english, so that I can prepare these things first?

    Thank you very much,

Good luck to all of us

  7. as others have said, set up your timeline.

We received NOA2 within days of VJ's estimated times.

Woww, I hope our case will also get approval like yours. Well, my fiance now is living in Cary, NC....

    Have a good day!

    Han & James

    Fill in your timeline.

VJ will then estimate the date of your NOA 2.

It also helps others because it allows VJ to keep track of approvals and will assist them in estimating when the NOA 2 approval may happen.

VJ timelines are not always accurate. But they tend to be pretty close!

I did create timeline here, hopefully getting good news soon. Thank you for your suggestion.

  8. Hi everybody,

I'm new here, and really want to receive any help from anyone in this forum. Thank you very much in advance. Everyday I look at processing time on this site. And now, processing time at VSC now is Sep 25, 2008. But I wonder that is exact time because it has not been updated in USCIS site. My fiance has applied petition I-129F on last Dec 2008, our case is submitted at VSC, and we got NOA1 on Dec 12, 2008. Can anyone estimate time when we can get NOA2?

Thank you for any explanations very much...

    Han & James

You have to have LOTS of patience when waiting for NOA2. Mine took 5 months and 2 days. The USCIS web site was never a good place to check status on. Create your time line here and visajourney has much better tracking and estimates of NOA2.

Yes, I know... I always try to stay strong in this waiting time... And hope it will be sooner....

I also filed our petition with VSC in December. I believe, according to their website, anyway, that they are now processing petitions from 9/2008. Several weeks ago, it said they were processing 4/2008, so if that's any indication, they are moving them along. I believe the wait is about 3 to 4 months in general, VSC is overloaded and the USCIS is in the process of adding help to get them caught up. I will post again when I receive NOA2, I hope its sooner than later. Good luck to you.

Ok, I see. As people here said, you also should create your timeline and VJ can estimate your case when you have NOA2. Good luck to you also....
