  1. hi guys, im a newbie here and dont know where to post this question. anyways, do you have any idea how to request to get a case no. and priority date?? do i need a formal letter just to request?? and for how long do i have to wait to get a reply??

it's ok, i've been here for a few years and i don't even know what you are talking about

what visa type are you talking about? are you in the aos phase, the interview at the consulate/embassy phase, or what?

hehehe im under F1 category, my father petitioned me and he already paid the affidavit of support.. just want to check online my case status... and also i want to add some derivatives, but when i called the embassy the case no. i gave didnt match so he said i need to request a case no.

  2. I am sympathetic to your situation. It is hard leaving your partner and the father of your children in the Philippines and not knowing when you will see him again. However, I would encourage you not to lie or deceive the immigration officer at the port of entry by omitting facts. On his visitor visa application, your partner will have to declare who in the US he is related to. He will have to declare his children are LPRs. You cannot "not declare" as that is a lie by omission. He will be denied entry and deported back home. This will complicate you filing an I-130 for him in the future; if you marry him after you become a LPR.

Lots of Filipinos are in your situation. I encourage you to contact them through the Catholic Church or other groups to help you through your situation.

oh i see! well i guess he can wait till il file k1 visa... the safest way to migrate! thanks aaron2020 for your time, now i know what the consequences will be...

  3. hi just want to ask.. i am petition by my father under F1 category, he said that i can bring along my 2 daughters since they are both minor age, would it be a problem if my childrens family name is not my family name but their fathers? but im not married...

Not a problem at all. Most children don't have the same last name as their mother. All you need to prove that they are your children are their birth certificates showing that you are the biological mom.

wow great!! so if ever my visa would be granted then we can travel together?? thanks aaron2020
