Hi everyone...sorry for taking so long to post this....

...I had my K1 Interview in London on the 16th of July and was approved! My passport with visa arrived back with me on the 21st Flights in August, wedding in October....it's all GO!!!!

Hope everyone else is getting on ok and seeing some progress

Don't worry, it'll all come together. This board has honestly been the only thing that has kept me straight. Read all the guides and even the embassy information on here. That's all I did for months and then when we finally got our approval we had a pretty good idea of what to expect next.

I'm just concerned about how long it will take for the police certificates etc. When did you submit and when were you approved?

Congratulations on your approval! I don't think it takes too long for a police certificate in the UK. Here is some information on how to obtain one:

Us too!! It's nearly 5am for me and Chris just phoned me and woke me up to tell me he got the email and there's no chance I'm sleeping now!!

Thanks The last updated date is currently showing as today so I guess that does count as a 'touch'

I've had lot going on the last little while I really wasn't expecting to hear anything for a while longer so now feel entirely unprepared for the interview part, so better get my stuff together asap just in case! Eek

Oh, and I take it that's what you all mean when you say a touch??

Woo...finally our case is showing on the USCIS website...only took them 3 months!

Current Status: Case received and pending.

And so we keep waiting...but for some reason it feels better to actually see it online and be able to ask for email updates now

Just thought I'd pop by and say hello...was reading a few posts and checked Igor's list which I haven't done in a while and looks like we're at #191 which seems like progress (though I can't remember where we were before...I get too stressed if I religiously look at this stuff!!).

Pretty fed up right now, trying to get my head round the stuff that I need to prepare for the actual K1 application and interview and having a bit of information overload!! Just want to be organised and have it all ready...

Can't believe it's only been just over 2 months since I saw my fiance, feels like an age (as usual)!! And not knowing when the next time will be isn't sitting very well right now with either of us. Also dealing with packing and storing all my stuff ahead of a house move. Going to be living in a tiny room for the indefinite future (but no lease to sign which was the intention) until VSC decides to be kind to us finally!

How did you manage that so soon?

We got our NOA1 dated 15th Jan but our case does not appear on their website at all if you search for it. I have read that this is common, the website is fairly unreliable...have others found this?

We did phone them as well the their phoneline gives the same info, however my fiance spoke to someone and they said it would be fixed in a couple days, but needless to say it still shows as before.

We get the following messaage: "Your case can not be found at this time in Case Status Online. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283."

Hi, I'm new here

My fiance and I sent in our I-129 on 13/1/09 and got our NOA dated 15/01/09....and now we wait!

I had been trying to find timescales of real people's K1s to make myself feel better about this whole thing, luckily the stuff I've seen so far seems to be around what I expected....still seems a long time though, having just got back from the US on what is my last visit until the real deal :S
