My daughter came with me on K2 visa. Now that I am US citizen how can I have a certificate for her?

You don't need to apply for a cert., even though you can if you want to (is $500 and 6 months) It is only a paper that says she is a US citizen, you can get a passport for her with the documents required in the actual Passport Aplication, in the section that says claiming citizenship through naturalized parent (s). It is confusing because you can't find any specific info on the passport website, you need to print the form.

I can't make her a passport, because her father doesn't want to sign the paper for her. and I dont' have a real customer as it is known in USA. It is only state that my daughther is living with me and authorized to come with me in ISA and in this case the father will see the daughther twice a year. That's all... But he refuse to sign paper for her for US passport.... I sent the translation of my divorce degre but they didn't want to make her a passport. So I would like to do certif for her to have a proof that she is US citizen.

BTW do you know how my husband can adopt her, do we need an authorisation for her father?

I have a question about the citizenship of my 9y old daughter. We came together here, I came on K1 and is on K2. I have passed my Citizenship exam last month and will have an oath the next month. Why I have to copy all the passport, if on the first page (where there is a photo and signature) there is a issue date (in his case it is 2001)

Just a small question I did not understand very well....

"$330 (Before July 30) for N-400 if daughter is less than 18 years old when you become citizen, then N-600 should be filed needed to file or fee ($460 after July 30 $675 after) now pay for her"

So I have to fill a separate N-400 for her with separate cheque for $330. She is 9 years.

How's possible, the time is running !!!!!! I remember I wrote first when we applied for my fiance visa in 2003 !!!!! And now I am wondering about citizenship.

1. When can I apply? I have received my 10y GC last August 19th. Could it be before increase if fees ? :-)

I have just receied my I-751 letter extending my card for 1 year. But nothing for my daughter who is leaving tomorrow. We sent appli for both of us.

The problem with his name, is following:

Of corse we will put his name as it is wrote on marriage certif etc.., but some invoices or statement we are sending have a wrong speling for his name, and all our friends and collegues call him with his american name, so we are sending certifyed letter with this name. Should be include all names?

This is our problem... Almost everything (except home ownership and joint accounts) i son my husband name.

For gas&electric, phone, cable tv, we simply did not think at that time. We complettely forgot about this petition. We can ask now to include me, but we can only have one last month paper.

Is it a problem? For pics, yes, we have them and can send with no problem.

What can we do for this utilities.

For cable TV we ask to put it on our both name, but as my husband talked to them on phone, they sent us invoice with his only name on it.

For phone and especially cell phone, I could not do it because I had not have credit story at the time I have had my phone.

For cars, too, there are on lease, so for credit story prob, everything on my husband name, except car insurance...

1. For my daughter, who was entered with me on K-2 visa.

What is her status? How should I put i? CPR? On part 5 information about children.

2. Should we indicate my stepson, who is US citizen, or just my daughter who should remove conditions

3. My husband has russian first name and there are 2 different spelling of it (even in his official documents) and his american used name. So we are sending copy of statements and invoices and friend's letter with these three different names' spelling... ;-) on How could we indicate all these names. For me there is a room for my used names, but not for my hubby.

4. If my daughter is on the same I-751, how much we have to pay for this petition, for both of us? just $205?

Finally we are in May and can file the I-751. I have read on the form about what kind of proof we need, but prefer to ask again :-). if this would be proof enough:

* Last two years' joint tax returns

* Joint bank account statements and joint savings account

* Joint ownership for our house

* Homeowners insurance bill for both names

* Car insurance for both names

* Earning statements (showing that we are both working for the same company)

* Dentist insurance bill on our address

Since we are both working for the same company, we don't have a joint insurance (it is a problem?)

* A letter from my OB/GYN attestion that I am pregnant and a ultrasound picture of our baby (due day in July)

* Some letters addresses to us from my daughter's school

* Copy from school directory, named both of us as parents

* Letters from our friends signed and certified

* A copy of two-three invoices from my daughter activities on our both names

We did not keep any ticket stubs, is it a problem?
