My husband also missed his appointment at the Nairobi, American embassy, they have told us that they have already sent another appointment letter, but we have not received it yet. Then they sent me another email saying that we are to email them to schedule at our convenience. My husband and I are probably going to just wait for his CR-1 appointment which I believe is very soon.

My husband missed his k3 visa because he received appointment letter 3weeks after the appointment. Embassy says they have already sent him another letter, but it has been 10 day and still nothing. Can he pick it up at the embassy and if so, what can he present to the guards?

Another issue we have is that all original documents we had to present at his k3 visa appointment have already been sent to the National Visa Center in the US for his Resicency case. Would the Embassy allow copies of the original documents if we reschedule the appointment?
