I am not sure what to enter for the Part 3, Processing Information

1- Date of Intended Departure and 2- Expected Length of Trip

Since we are filling the form for just in case if something happen to wife family and she wants to go back for visit otherwise she is not planing to go back before finishing the AOS processing.

It says Go to Part 2 of the instructions, Eligibility Categories.... and on that part there are 2 categories (a)(6) and ©(9)..

Which one should we select for K1-Visa filing for AOS?

Anyone knows what is the FIN:xxxxxxxxxx on the I-94 form for? This number is hand written above the word Departure Record.

Also, they are asking for the expiration date of the form I am assuming is the number under the admitted date and the class unite K1...

Did they say that more documentation was required or that no further information is needed? It sounds like you are in AP, which just means that you have to wait until they make a decision. Sorry.

This what she got from the embassy

This office regrets to inform you that we cannot issue a visa at this time. Your visa application has been denied under INA 221(g).

Your case requires further administrative processing. We will contact you as soon as this processing is compllete.

Also, when I checked the case on the USCIS I see the case under Post Decision Activity.

If any one went through please help me understand what is going on and how long dose this process take?

Her husband had his green card from different marriage.

If your friend sponsored her husband for an immigrant visa she will have to include him in the household count.

Only one person's income can be used for the I-134 affidavit. She cannot combine her income with her husband. For the I-864 affidavit of support used at AOS incomes can be combined.

Relationship to person being sponsored is "friend"

If she sponsored her husband (or anyone else) she would list that person or persons there.

She is employed and she is going to use her income as qulifing. So, what type off supporting ducoments she needs? W2's /Tax return if so, they have a joint tax return? letter from her employer?. If her income enough for 4 people dose she have to provide other things?

Realtion to sponsor is "friend"

ONLY her income counts. She needs to attach documentation of HER income. She does not have to count her husband IF he also has income. She does have to count her children. Her family size will be FOUR, her, your fiance and two children.

She needs to provide an I-134, same as you and supporting documents, same as you.

Contact the embassy and give them the case number from the NVC and ask them on the status of the case

Hello,After the petition was approved from the uscis and the assigned case from the nvc, we didn't get any answer from the embassy here where i live, i mean morocco , i want to know why the packet 3 is taking so long to be sent to me , one month and a few days and no packet from the embassy , i am a little bit worried ,

Can someone Give me advices , i ll be so thankful

Do you mean the NVC case number? DMSxxxxxxxxxx ? yes we have that number. Also, there are 3 doctors listed on the embassy websit

Most medical places require the number assigned by the embassy before they will schedule you an appointment, so you have that? (For example, Ankara embassy gives ANKXXXXX) (was on the NVC letter for us).

If you know where to go, you can go ahead and start the ball rolling. Check the embassy website, they may have the detailed instructions there (and it's good to check there first before doing anything)

Can she get her medical exams done before the consulate send her packet 3?. And if she can what dose she need to do? Is there any forms she has to fill in? or she just call the recomended doctor from the consulate and do the exams?.

The consulate said it wil take 10 days for her packet 3 to send it to her. We are trying to get everything ready for the interview.

on Part-II of this form Item #39 Name and address of Petitioner? Who's Name should be me the USC or her name?

I am using the assest to qualify and have few questions for the supporting evidence for those assests

1- Using the value of the house minus the mortgage value. What should I send here? A print from the citymaps where it shows the house market value and the property tax paid. enough?

2- I got a letter from the banks where my accounts opend. Do I need to send the copy of the monthly statements for the last year? or How many copy is enough?

3- Is the IRA rollover account considered as a stock and bonds?

4- Do I have to send a duplicate copy of all the above?

One more comment on this form Item # 3 Full Name (In Native Alphabet) Dose any one expiriance a problem typing the name in different language say Arabic?. Also, every time you try to open the form you get an error Adobe Acrobat {{ An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Then answer "no" This form is used for ALL male visa applicants so the question is more relevnet to some than others. There is no obligation to have made travel arrangements for a K-1 or Cr-1 visa

Afte filling the DS-156 online and you relized you made a mistake... Do you have to refill in the application again to correct the mistakes or can you correct them by using Adobe PDF writer? Also, I am wandering do they keep a filed copy online (The U.S Department of state)?

Was hoping to recive the NOA2 but instade just got email telling me Request for Aditional Evidence Sent. When sent my application went through it many time making sure I did not forget anything. What could be the evedance they want?

We filed on 01/06 had one touch on 01/08 then nothing until last week. We received a touch on 04/16 and I was really hoping this would be our approval (especially since so many Jan filers were approved on that day) but I haven't received an email, a case status update, or approval by mail. I'm starting to worry that I've gotten my hopes up for nothing.

Can anyone shed some light on what else this touch may have been for? Thanks!

I am a January filer and to this date I did not have the NOA2 yet!! Just wandering how many January's filer the did not have their NOA2 yet?

Today 4/16/2009 USCIS released the new time line for the K1 visa and stating that they are working on February, 28 2009.

Just wandering how many NOA1 holders sent to them on brfor January 31 2009 yet they receive their NOA2?.

Also, if they are issuing them on first come first serve why? I am seeing many posters their NOA1 sent in February they did have receive their NOA2's and they did not send to the January's receivers?
