  1. The same thing happened to us, which it does not make any sense because how can you get the other points within the first 30 days? is almost impossible!!

The onlu thing you can do is wait for the EAD which are 3 points and come up with the other 3 points. You don't have to show your passport because the EAD is your primary ID.

AH!! and make sure the ss card name spells exactly the same as your EAD.

  2. My wife just received a letter saying that in order to speed up the process they transfer her case to California Service center. What this mean?

She came with a fiance visa and we got married. We are waiting for the EAD and green card. Are we going to have an interview soon? Why California? Is this related to her Work authorization or only green card?

    I appreciate your responses

  3. Thanks a lot,

But you say pictures, pics of my wedding or everything? Also when I went to get the form I-864 it say there is a fee for $70 when is file domestically? I know it used to be free, do you know anything about?

Can someone help me? My fiance is in the US we got married and she is about to file her change of status to conditional permanent resident and work visa.

Below I have a list of documents I have to file but the 1st one (I-129F approval) where do I get that? we gave that to them when she entered the US. I have copies of what we file but I dont have a copy of that with the approval. Where do you get that?

    Thanks

If she adjusting from K-1 YOU (US citizen) do not need a G-325a, only her. You also need copies of her I-94, passport stamp, K-1 visa and marriage certificate. An I-864 completed by you, passport photos for the I-485 and I-131 (Advance Parole, if you want to file it, it is optional) her birth certificate, translated if necesary. Your I-129f approval is the NOA2 letter you received from your petition.

  5. Hi All.

My fiancee (now wife) and I are preparing documents to do her adjustment of status. I had a question regarding vaccinations. When she was preping for the interview and had her medical exam, the clinic did not ask her to get any vaccinations done. Instead, she was given a form listing all of her shots and the x-rays, and was instructed to present them at the interview.

My questions are: 1) do we need to get all missing vaccinations (if any) done before the interview for adjustment of status, and 2) are the x-rays presented to the officer at USCIS conducting the AoS interview?

    Thanks for the help.

Hi I have a question for you because I am doing the same for my wife? In order to adjust her status do you have to file all the forms below? (I-129F approval), I do not have that, I have a copy of what I sent. what do you know about this?

    I appreciated, thanks

  7. I need help, my fiance got her fiance visa and we finally got married in the US. Now I understand I have to send everything again: medical exam, affidavit of support again?

The person that co-sponsor recently lost her job, my question is can I get someone else to be my co sponsor. I do not want to have any problem with inmigrations, since they have both of our affidavits of support. My other question is, can I send only 2 tax returns, i kinow it says 3 but i did not file in 2006. Do you think I will have problems for that?

    Thanks a lot

  8. hi everyone

I met my fiance through my cousin. I was reading a list of red flags that they follow and one of them was meeting through a family member. We were honest saying how we met, as honest we are going to be aswering all the questions. My question is, how many of you met through a family member and how was you experience with the counsoler?

  9. It depends on the reason for the denial, can you go into detail as to why you were denied, what the paper you got says etc?

I haven't been denial. She has the interview in couple weeks and I got scare because I was reading that someone was denial and the papers were sent back to the US because the thought it was marriage for inmigration purposes only. They think is because he was introduced by a family member. I, myself was introduce to my fiance through my cousin, and I am scare that they will do the same thing. I can't go to the interview, so I don't know what to do.

  10. They will be mostly concerned with current and future income.

If past year tax return shows gross income above the line, and employer letter also indicates job status as permanent, and salary is above the line, you wont need a co-sponsor for the I-134.

Moving this to consulate/embassy forum, the I-134 is not needed when filing I-129F.

Yes but income taxes were below the line the past two years.

  11. I was introduced to my fiance through my cousin, who happens to be his sister in law. Now I am wonder if we are going to have any issues because of that. Is this consider a red flag for them? I saw a post over here where a guy gotten in trouble and he thinks is because he met through his grandma. I am very nervous now that they will give us problems. Please I need advice.
