    Welcome to the sunshine state May. Hopefully you will find a good place to rent very soon. Joe and I also live in the rural area, small city but I love it here. We are in the west central part of Florida so if you are nearby you are most welcome to join our Fil-am group. I believe the next party is scheduled on March 28 :)

    Claudeth is affected even by the mild weather in southern California. She takes really good care of the house and I appreciate that. I suggest you find some sort of activity to get involved with. I have been pestering Claudeth to go to school or even take some sort of class on the internet but she hasn't yet. At least it is warmer here so she can always catch the bus to the mall. Is your fiance going to teach you how to drive? At least you could get out on your own. Good luck :thumbs:

    Yes, my soon to be hubby will teach me how to drive soon. Maybe on spring time I will start to study driving here, can`t study that for now because the weather here, its snowy and so cold. We don`t have public bus here, I saw one bus but it`s bound to Detroit and my fiance seldom visit that city also and I won`t try either unless I`m not with him.     Hi Netscot we are in the same boat i just arrived here in florida about 11 days ago and things really different than what we used to see and do. Its so cold here in florida during my first week so i cant even go out in our place then i put alot of lotion all over my body my skin is so dry bec. of climate. Its such a weird feeling hay... but try to live like we still in PI like for example cook some filipino food for an instant. Like adobo and menudo hahahahaha..... This week all i do is research some organization were i could join then try to find some filipina within your area it will not hurt to try thats what i kee doing so i'm online most of the time while my man is working.

    Im here in Tampa. Temple Terrace actually. I live near Fowler/Fletcher. Im like 5 minutes away from Busch Gardens! Let's all go to Busch GArdens! Yay!
