  1. hi! we have almost in the same situation and my case right now is under FPU. they gave me a lists of additional documents to be submitted. me and my husband talked online for 2yrs but its not enough, CO was not conviced. meeting in person for the first time and getting married right away is very unusual situation according to my CO. so, my advise is to let ur husband come during ur interview. goodluck!

Piscesgirl--- What is FPU?? I have gone over to india to spend time with my wife since our marriage...acutally have spent 45 days with her there, including taking a vacation with her overseas(singapore, thailand, malaysasia)

I will be there for her interview but I thought that you cannot go into the interview with your spouse?

  2. I was born and raised in India, however been living here for over 10 years. Life in India is great however just too hectic, you never get peace and quiet like you do here. Everyday you have lot's of people that will come over to visit you and then expect to be fed and entertained. I like it here, you get "your space"

Money is always an added bonus.

I think that when we are retired I would love for us to go back, when you have time to entertain all day.

  3. well my I-129F petition was approved and forwarded to bombay consulate, and I have appt on april 3 with them....so that's for K3

I wanted to proceed with my CR-1 visa stuff at NVC however....so far all I hear on the automated response is that they have generated the bills. I still have not received anything from them, so just waiting.

I am planning on going to bombay in march so that I can take over the original documents and be support for my wife, but I don't know what will happen at NVC since I will be out of the country

  4. Hello all....I just joined VJ, however have been reading postings to help with my case....

have just gotten my K3 Interview date at bombay consulate for april 3....yay....

    I wanted to know...

    1. my I-130 case with NVC, seems to be stalled....I had hired an attorney, so they sent him the bills for the AOS....ofcourse now I cannot get the invoice number from him...since his speech to me is...just get ready for the K3 interview for now, and don't worry about NVC for now...

How can I get a hold of the invoice numbers so that I can pay them online??

    2. Is it better for me to disregard the I-130 process for now and just go ahead with the K3 interview???

    Please give me your thoughts....

    thanks
