And does anybody know what the time difference will be? also, what is site to jamies shortcut? or liung chi? Someone please respond.... I know that the I130 is better but which is quuuuicccckest??

  4. I almost fell out of my chair today when I saw the NOA2 in my email. I could not be happier (unless this whole thing was over). However, it's a step in the right direction with no RFE! :) I also think this is a good sign that USCIS is getting on track. The site says 5 months but my wait was nearly 4. It was tough being patient and still is but at least it's progress. Anyway good luck to those of you still waiting to pass the first step.

    Keep the faith

  5. Oh! Thank God, i always spoke with an officer, they have more authority because they would tell me more specifics, that is when they told me it was assigned. then all of a sudden, another officer told me it was pending and not with an officer, she was gonna send an email asking why not. then today another officer told me. they log calls and I called too much, i was so imberressed! but these people need to realize we have our spouses away and i am given too many different suggestuions on what needs to be done...Especially when im told if i dont withdraw my i129, it would take months longer! thanks for responding... I guess i should stop being obsessive lol!!

  6. omg...I feel sooo discouraged right now! my husband is in Honduras, as you all know there was a cou weeks ago...possible civil war! I called the uscis several times in one day for about a week...kept getting different responses on my 130 and k3. One agent told me to write a letter withdrawing my k3 as this would delay my approval of 130. Because of different processing times...I130 is withi n 5 months which, btw my file was with an adjudicator last week and week before . But because i kept calling to find out whether or not to withdraw my 129f for spouse. last week its pending AGAIN???? today I called to see wheer it was, because a few weeks ago it was waiting to be adjudicated. However, according to fridays agent it was not, called today and they said I have called too much, not to call until 30 days. My file is where it needs to be. Now im wondering, is it possible they got irritated and placed it back on shelf?? Guys be careful when calling.... i only called because I got told to withdraw, another said not to! Then i was told we can choose which route to go, then another said no! Can they put it back on shelf???

  7. Ok.. I filed i130 for my husband in February and two weeks later filed for my k3 i129f) They have them, together, one officer told me to write and have the k3 withdrawn as it would delay my i130 approval because of processing time...another told me complete opposite,,, the first officer she said there are two teams , once 130 is approved, because of the k3 being attached it would then be sent to k3 team and sit til the date catches up...true or false...also, my i130 was assigned to an officer today...another thing if my co. files me as self employed on my taxes but im a sales mgr...how do i submit under job position...as my taxes state or my busioness cards state?? Very confused, frustrated tired, blessed, grateful, happy....boy im a mess! lol

  8. Ok, so I'm a US citizen and I live with my husband in the UK. He's at university and will graduate next July. As soon as he graduates, we want to move back to the US.

However.. It gets difficult. I'm pregnant at the moment and there will be a little one in the picture by the time we would move... Because of this it's essential that he'll be able to work as soon as he gets into the country..

    so.

    1. What is the best option for us? The K-3 or the CR1? And what are the processing times of each?

    2. How will it impact upon the visa application if there is going to be a child with us after the visa is filed but before we get to the US?
