Just received our green card in mail today (6/4). It was mailed 5/31.

Those of you who are waiting for the approval, good luck and see you in the citizenship forum soon.

My wife's approval letter came in mail today. We signed up for both email and text notification but did not received any notification and USCIS website shows the status as at initial review.

It was a big surprise for us.

Approval date is 5/18/2012

surprise surprise....still no movement for those of us who filed with vermont service center......i have a feeling our daughter will be here before her daddy gets his 10 yr green card.....ironic since i started these papers for her father a year after we met.....i was 18, 5 years into it...and we still dont have the 10 yr greencard in hand....but we are fortunate to have gotten this far. Congrats to all those who have been approved.... i will be checking in periodically to see the updates. LETS SEE THOSE VERMONT APPROVALS!

I just got an e-mail and text from USCIS: WE GOT APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!! The card production was ordered last night. Hopefully I get it before leaving for our trip to Costa Rica, December 15th. I AM SOOOOO HAPPY!!!

I think we gonna wait our approval a looong time I notice that only 2 people approved on April2011 , after that no even one approval from Vermont

I know there are two major holidays coming soon and I think it won't be a help at all.

I filed mine 7 months later after the move and did not have any issues.

still no biometrics letter yet. Just an unhappy update.

Ours took 24 days from NOA1 receipt date and we are in baltimore.

Hopefully and assuming, Philly office follows same trend, you weill get yours within a week.

This is just my observation. I think SunRay is in baltimore area and I think we have almost same trend.

Notice date is 9/2/2011 and time of the appt is 9/30/2011.

USCIS rep will put service request if it has been 30 days or more since you got your NOA.

So just wait one more week and if you don't get anything give them a call.

Has anyone had an eraly biometrics done in Baltimore Maryland. If so, how did it go? I'm thinking of going early.

2 years when we did AOS, we went early bio and basically we got yelled at for coming early.

The receptionist did not check the date on the bio letter. After she found out that we came early she got furious but she could not do anything at that momen because we were already checked in and waiting for the bio.

BTW, how long did it take you to receive the bio letter?

I am waiting for my wife's.

Do you guys think that the Hurricane Irene will impact or already have impacted the Vermon Service Center's abiliy to process the paper works?

We have not received ours yet. It's been 2 weeks since receiving NOA1 letter.

You won't be able to add until you receive the biometrics letter. That letter has the right numbers to add to the portfolio.
