I haven't heard back yet...I am still waiting....I am at CSC though...not sure when I'll hear back...its been too long..

Thanks folks will try calling them up..Any idea how long the background checks take?? Is that my background check or my spouse's? Is there a forum for folks whose files are stuck in a background check

So its been 6 months since I sent in my I-130/I29F application to CSC..I haven't heard anything..Can I call them? The processing time is supposed to be 6 months for CSC............I had several touches last month but that was it.....

Anyone have any advice on what I can do besides waiting?

Does the K3 take on average longer time if the country of foreign spouse is pakistan? I was looking but couldnt find a correlation..If so, anyone know how long it takes for K3 to process if foreign spouse is from pakistan and local center here is CSC???

I saw couple touches on my application in middle of January (the first touch was when I sent the applications in, and this was the first touch in 4 months), but haven't seen anything since. I've seen a couple people getting approved whose timeline for I130/I129F was after me from CSC... What does that mean? Does anyone know how long after the first touch the applications are typically approved? And what does it mean if folks who applied after me to CSC are getting approved before me.. Dooes that mean they are scrutinizing my application, and it might take longer than usual to get approval?
