I just wanted to inform everyone i was successful at getting an earlier interview date, that was a number to call, i had to pay 15 euro but they changed it to before th etax cut off, so i hope i will be ok now....yayay

Call The NVC and speak with an operator they will rpovide that info. I cant remember if they automated service says that or not.

yes that is true, it happened with us. I wasnt aware but after the process starts u are not able to enter the US and if you are still in the US you need permission to leave so you can then re-enter.

I recieved that, via email, that was from the letter the list i provided. I just get confused cause on the web interview prep, it says to bring all the documents i already submitted to the NVC that they then forwarded to the consulate. This process as you all know has been just so nerve racking we just want to be done with it.....

I submitted all the original docs to the NVC , I just have the copies now. When we go to the interview are we suppose to bring anything besides photo and passport?? And in the interview letter the only wrong this is, it doesnt say that the police record was original(and it was). Will this be a problem??

The lady at NVC said I will need to give my husband a letter stating why i have no income/taxs for 2008. I have 2007,2006 and 2005 retuens plus a letter from my new employer. i hope that will be enough....

I have got my interview date for 04/28 in Naples Italy for CR1, I really want to request an earlier date, before 04/15 so i dont have to provide 2008 tax returns. Does anyone know how to go about doing this?? I already called the NVC and they said they cant do anything once they have scheduled the interview???

When I did mine, i printed everything from online, they never mailed me anything. i would call when they open in 2 hours and speak with an operator
