Hi everybody.
For those that have their K3 interview in Manila. Does the embassy require you to pay for document verification? How much did that cost and where did you pay to get the documents verified.

I think the next month or so is going to be a happy one for many ppl. My wife has her interview May 6th. Like many of you her emotions are running fast. We all do our part, stay in prayer, and trust in a big God. Thanks to others posting we know to have our 2008 returns for the interview. What about attending the interview with your spouse? Any denials or problems for not attending?
thanks.

Guys,
I was told today that our case was approved and sent on to the Manila embassy! I'm very excited but confused coz I thought I have to pay a fee, but the person reviewing our case told me no? Everything was fine and our case had already left! Did I miss something? When can my wife find out our interview date? Does the NVC set the date or the embassy?
We are going for a K3...
As you can imagine we are very excited.

Guys, NVC still hasn't received my packet from the USCIS??? I've spoke several different ops and they all say give it more time? Today I called back to the USCIS and ask if I could get a tracking number and was told they don't have that info? I was approved March 4th with others on this site and I do believe most if not all have their packets at NVC! What can I do? Any suggestions?

I used the services of a lawyer and don't regret my choice. When I filed I didn't have the guidance of this site. I had a huge fear of making a mistake on the forms or sending in the wrongs forms and causing a delay on an already lengthy process. Hiring a lawyer that was recommended to me from someone with first hand experience of his services gave me peace of mind. Yes it cost, but peace of mind was worth the extra expense to me.

Both of my petitions were approved too. I'm doing the K-3 so I have two chances. I can't wait to tell my husband.
We're going the k3 route also. We believe this is still the fastest way to get my wife here.
Congrats on your approval. You and some others have been waiting for to long.

I just got off the phone with my wife. We are both so excited and happy. For all of you still waiting just hang in there. We were praying and believing for 3 months approval and it was very hard on us when the months kept passing, but we didn't complain. Not knowing when we'd be approved was the hard part. Of course I don't know how many times I wanted to buy a ticket.

Guys, I nearly fell out of my chair. This morning I checked the site and both the I129F and I130 are approved! I am so shocked I don't know what to say. We received about 1 week before the 6 month mark. Thank God coz I was going out of my scull waiting. I'm just not sure what's next since both are approved? How does that change things? Lets hope for more approval this week!
thank you guys.

Human beings sure know how to make life way more difficult than it has to be! My 6 month date should be March 16th 2009. Not much longer to wait, but I am going to remain in Faith and expect and earlier approval.... even if only a day sooner!
thanks everyone.

Guys,
My NOA says USCIS in Vermont processed my I129F September 16th 2008. If I do the math am I considered outside the processing date since they are now working on Dec 31st 2008? I called a couple days ago and was told I needed to wait 6 months before they would look into the matter for us. That would be March 16th 2009. What do you think?
thanks

This waiting is tough on everyone. Just hang in there guys. In March it will be 6 months that me and my wife have been waiting. At time it's all I can do to keep from buying a ticket and visiting her. Sigh.................................

Me and my wife realized that most long distance relationships weren't possible just 20 years ago! Technology can be such a wonderful thing.
