I have a question .My friend already sent her package ..for the uscis..she already did the biometric..and is wating for the interview letter .She works as a nanny ..but they pay her cash and she doesnt use her ssn ..Its any chance that the imigration find about it ???

Hello everybody .I sent my AOS package in march too.I would like to join here .I have a question I hope somebody is able to help me .I sent my package by end of march and I got my NOA1 on april 3 .I did my biometric appoiment 2 weeks afther that .But for some reason I'm not able to check my status on the uscis website .I try to call to but they say that my number is invalid too.Is anybody know what is going on ?its normal .???Thanks

Hi mansur23! Thats strange. Since you have had the biometrics and did receive the NOA1, that means that your case is being processed and couldn't be invalid. Don't worry about your case being not viewable online. Every other applicant is facing the same dilemma. I can view my I-130, I-765, I-131, but cant view the most important application. The I-485 till now. I filed in Jan btw. Usually, if you can't view the file, the operator that talks to you when you go through the 1-800 USCIS number, can't view it either as they have limited access to the cases. What they do is they escalate your calls to a higher level and that officer is the person that has actual access to your case. The next time you should request them to escalate your call, and see what happens. Tell them that you have already had your biometrics, so there has to be a problem on their part. If not, schedule an Infopass and go to the Office yourself.

Ok .I think Im going to do this ..I hear some peoples saying that the cover letter should have date and signature .But I really I want sent this tomorrow.So I guess Im going to sent without .The forms are the most important and he sign it .So I guess Im not gonna have a problem because of this cover letter .Thanks so much andgoo lucky!!!

Do get some kind of deployment paperwork - orders - make sure you put USC deployed/deploying - that's the info I received for our ROC from the military help line.

Once you have your GC and your husband is deployed to Italy file for expedited naturalization based on 319 (B) if the deployment is 12 months or more.

hey evebody I have a question .My husband is deploying right now and he will be back just in june.we filled all the paperwork fot the AOS.and is ready to sent to Chicago ,but I was the one who did the front cover letter for all the documents that we are sending .Do you guys think that I'm able to sign for him ,since he is not here .I even have a power of attoney .Does anybody know anything?Should I sent a copy of his order saying that his deployng now ..or not ??Thanks ]

As AOS is basically YOUR application, you should sign it. Your husband signs the I-864 form.

Thanks for the help.But Im talk about the cover letter, the one that we list everthing that we are sending with the package .The one who is opcional ,but most of peoples sent with the forms .So you can describle everthing inside of the package .Do you know if there is any problem in I sign for him ???

that is not necessary to be naked .i think .yesterday I did my fisical ..and she just check me ..like my eyes ,ears, not much ...but if the doctor request and you don`t fell confortable, you can always ask for a nurser to be present ..but don`t worrie to much about it ..good luck !!!

well let me see if i UNDERSTOOD THIS ..LOL..i did a cover letter for the I-485 form and another cover for the I-130form ..should I do, one main letter for both forms ??? .....I look at the step by step ..but for some reason .this AOS its so complicated sometimes that I came here to make sure that Im doing everthing correct ..Thanks !!!

The answer is in the instructions for the I-130 and again in the instructions for the I-485. If you haven't read them, that's a big mistake.

Yes, but this assumes that your USC spouse has filed previously or is filing an I-130 petition concurrently with your I-485.

IRS and USCIS are separate and have different regulations... A USC can file jointly with his/her non-resident alien spouse.
