Missuzu had her interview on Oct 19... VISA WAS APPROVED!!!

Hi... My fiance has her interview in Rio de Janeiro on October 19... Do you think it is worthwhile for me to fly there and be there for her interview? Were you there? If so, do you think it helped y'all?

Normally, the NOA2 should take around 90-100 days

7 months passed between my NOA1 and my NOA2... That's why we are so happy to finally get it... But my situation was different... I have a Puerto Rico birth certificate, and the USCIS put petitions with PR birth certificates on hold because they were receiving a lot of fraudulent certificates.

Paper copy of NOA 2 received on August 2... It is official!!... YEAH!!

Hi Christine... Nothing yet... I talked to someone at the USCIS 1-800 number that sent a "Request for Service" to the VSC. But now they tell us that it can take up to 3 minths for the VSC to respond to the Request for Service. So if nothing happens before then, now we have to wait until August 26 before they will take any other action. Hopefully, we will hear something before then.

Congratulations on your NOA 2... I am jealous (but also happy for you)... I log in to the USCIS webpage every day (sometimes multiple times a day) to check if we at least get a touch... So far nothing... Our last touch was December 31, 2009... Hopefully, we will be next! Keep in touch!

I have tried calling the NCIS, but they just tell me that I have to wait for their 5 month processing time to pass before they will do anything for me.

Our 5 month timeframe ends May 28th... I will be calling the USCIS the morning of the 27th... ;o)
