I got an email from VSC saying that my petition approval was mailed today!! I'am so happy!!! thanks to this site for all the ideas, suggestions, and help!!

This morning I joined the 6 months waiting club date from receiving NOA1, and today received a touch. Right after that I got the approval notice! I couldn't be happier right now. I just want to send out warm wishes to those who are still waiting. I know what it's like not to hear a peep for 6 months. Here's to a happy and closer future with our other halves!

Went to the visa interview this morn, got approved!!!! Did not run into any issues, waited about 4 hours, total for interview, counting presentation of documents, fingerprinting, actual interview about 30min tops. Will post with more detail on consulate review.

Read your post..It sounds good to have a filipino community in Alabama.
My fiance lived in Bay Minette Alabama.Our petitioned was approved already and Im waiting for my medical and interview here in Hongkong.
Hope everything will go smooth and plan to leave on July 15,2009.
There's also several filipina's who lived in Bay Minette thats what my fiance told me.
Hope to meet you guyz soon..
