can anyone help me about the paper size for the forms, can i use A4 paper size , or does it has to b American standard paper size i-e 8.5''x11''..

Well i got my police certificate within couple of days from lahore and they do ask you for what purpose ,it is also mentioned on the form tht you fill and then also wht they give you...it has to be signed by the SP...they didnt even see the cover letter....iam waiting one frm the present city that iam in right now...they didnt even asked for cover letter ...ahhh jst wondering if mine is right or not....soo confusing...

Im usually nt on this website bt i posetd a question while i ws fillign the forms...cutting long story short..so for benefit of other readers, i called embassy a week ago and they told me that cause i have only lived n worked in China for 11 months so i dnt hv to mention it in the form...and i even dnt need a police cert...cause 6 months is for the places tht we hv lived within pakistan...1 year criteria is for living abroad....

please help me out with paper size...

Well China info n address is mentioned but in my employers list.

i hv also mentioned in the countries that i have visited.

The thing is that in biographic info it asked about residence and that is where we were told to write pakistan as my residence...even though i ws workin in China n it ws mentioned in the employers list...

so for q 20 should it match the biographic info ..or should i mention China?as it is already mentioned in the employers list..and i also hv police cert from china...

just confused about tht single question..cause it also says if u hv stayed in tht place atleast 6 mos..where as i hv only stayed for 5 mos..at one place...

will tht one question matter to them..or not..

it asks about all the places tht u hv lived atleast 6 mos after attaining the age of 16?

well i was working in China in 2008..i hv lived in several addresses bt nt more than 5 -5.5 months..bt i ws in the same city.should i write china .

on the biographic information...it only asked for residence for last 5 yrs..so only pakistani addresses were mentioned [tht is wht our attorney thought]..

do u think i should write china's address or i should jst write pakistani addresses..cause im currently in the same address as before i left for china..

its kind of confusing..n im nt sure wht to write...

well im just curiuos the processing time shown on USCIS website is showing April15th 2008...so it mean people like us who have applied in Nov 2008 will have to wait for nine months..My fiance is in Iraq he cannot go to the phones tht often to call and check...so please if you have info about how long it takes frm NOAC1 to NOAC2?

wht USCIS has written is it true , or has there been people who hv go their petitions approved just like iam reading on VJ Website?

How long do you think it will take for our petition to get accepted?

On the USCIS website it also states that this is as of 30 Nov 2008, so I take this to mean that as of Nov 08 they were processing April 08 applications - so 7 months. Correct me if I'm wrong! Hopefully they will update it soon for 31 Jan 2009, so we can see if this has improved or not...

well before joining this site i also thought tht i have to wait for soo many months or may b it is wrongly dated on their website..Now i think USCIS is workin on august , sept n october applications...may b they do it cause they dnt wnt people to keep on bugging them....

Yeah i think your theory can b accepted...logically it is sound...

I wish the slow workers will understand how hard waiting is ...especially when you long to b together...

Becky. VSC quote 9 months to cover their backs. You will likely find the NOA 2 will take 5-6 months and then there is the additional time on top for forwarding to NVC and then onto the embassy.

Sadly it is a wait situation. We all understand how hard it is to be apart from our loved ones. And can appreciate you miss your fiance. But there isnt a lot that can be done unless you fall under an expedite situation.

Lets just do some hoping that VSC hurry up and approve those people who submitted their petitions before us November filers......

It'll be over soon, and you and your fiance will have forever together :-)

Thnks for your help, my adjudicated time is April 22nd till May 8 th 2008...which is a good news , cause when i was told tht just the processing will take nine months i was soo sad ...epecially with things happening in my country...

My Fiance is in the US Army ,is there a way tht he can ask USCIS to fasten up the process..........well jst wnt to know..dnt wnt to sound too impatient...lol...well lil bit of mw is...i long to see my fiance again...he cant even visit me for pakistan being a volatile region....

CSC really is moving fast...several November filers are already being approved!!

It's making me c-rayyyyyzeh thinking about it.

Grrrrrrrrr!!!! Bad David, for not living in a CSC state!!!!!! Ya know, i haven't read a book since I met Dave. It's not a social sport you can do on the phone and I talk to him from when I finish work till when I go to bed. I cant wait till I am in his company all the time and am able to read a book....!!!!!!!!!

Oh gawd...i really forgot how much i enjoy reading! Lil ray of hope. I see all these Nov filers getting approved and a lot of them have been praying. I'm thinking about taking it up....only myself and my SO are both athiests.......so i dont think it will work.

I think i'll just do the waiting inline thing, hoping by some fluke a VSC worker bypasses the rest of the Aug, Sept, Oct filers and gets to me hee hee....

dont worry...I'll do the praying for you on your behalf....as for me, im still constantly checking the "approximate" approval date for me even though I can exactly have my xray until after the baby's born...so im probably looking at moving to the states around October...if I dont spend Christmas here with the fam..

First of all welcome to the November thread..If you fill in your time line you will be able to look up your approximate adjudication date. You can find this by clicking on "My timeline" and scroll down to the bottom and it should say there. To get to "My timeline" I usually just go into the tope left of the page where it says "Logged in As..." and once u get to your page you should see "My timeline" on the left hand side...My mind's pretty clouded at the moment so sorry if im confusing you!
