  1. Thank you for pointing it out.heheheh I made the same conclusion about my self..hehehe I'm just excited to have my wife finally come over here in the US. My head is running around thinking too much...heheehe.Anyway, Here is my scenario, my wife passed her medical exam on April 28 and also passed her visa interview on May 4 for CR-1.. we were planning to have her come here in July so that she can have more than enough time to sort out her things, but when I read something in this forum that she can have a chance to have her CR-1 change into IR-1 at the POE after our 2nd Anniversary which would be just one month away (august). why not just wait couple more weeks so that she can upgrade to IR-1 which is far more better than being a conditional CR-1 Visa. So what do you think? any comments would be greatly appreciated and many Thanks....

Hey poloydim. i think your wife should wait until august for your 2nd year anniversary to enter the United States because it will be less with a lot of paper works to have your cr1 change to ir1.

  2. Thank you very much for your reply. Can you help me please with one more question please? For the form G-325 - I understand that it should be filled out by both partners. When my wife fills out the form, for the section that states: "This form is submitted in connection with an application for" (which one should be selected?):

    naturalization

status as a permanent resident, or

    other (specify)

I think that "others" should be checked and we should specify I-130. What do you think, or what are your experiencies please?

    thank you once again

it should checked (adjustment of permanent resident) my lawyer checked that for my mom's application

    for the g325

you should checked adjustment of permanent resident. my lawyer checked that for us.

  3. Hi, all. now my question is? is this for couple who physically lived together for two years or can this also be possible for a couple who lived separately, like for example one spouse who is the US Citizen living in the US and one living abroad who is immigrating here with CR-1 visa?

    hi Poloydim:

this is for people who is living in the United States that have a CR1 greencard that need to change to a IR1 greencard. A person who hold a CR1 greencard can file together with his/ her spouse or can file as single petitioner (if they are not together anymore) under certain circumstances. for further details on that you need to consult a specialized immigration lawyer.

  4. ok, hope this help.

    1. you were issued a CR1 visa from the embassy because at that time you weren't marry for 2 years.

    2. like you say. you know what's going on. your wife waited for your 2 year anniversary to come to the United States so, they can give you a stamped say (IR1) on it.

    3. if the stamped said ir1 on it. there is no adjustments or anything like that because later on they will send you the 10 years green card in the mail.

    4. you said that you still haven't received anything yet. ok. its because every cases are different. mostly waited 1 months but sometimes 3 months and some cases 6 months and others never received anything.

    7. ok if you are still not sure if you have to do anything in the future. USCIS will send you a letter saying that you need to file or eligible to file the cr1 to ir1.

    8. bye bye hope this help

  5. hi everyone. i am new to this. my problem is:

my mom is in the U.S. and i recently became a citizen and i need to file for her to get your G.C. but my income didn't meet the Poverty line so, what can i do?

I notice that some of your guys use cash values, etc. but i dont have a lot in cash value because my mom and i just bought a house a few years ago in Brooklyn.

Can i use our house as the asset? and how do i get the market value of the house that i need to send in to the USCIS?

do i go to the bank that i got the mortgage from or the broker that i get my loan from or do i need someone to appraise the value of my home again?

can anyone be kind to help me please..............

    thanks
