gal,
this is your man, this is your husband. despite all the stereotypes in this world, at the end of the day, we are one people different looks and style but as people no one is more superior than the other one. some people may make you feel that you have made the wrong choice but hey, dont divorce your husband, don't cut your friendship with your friend but instead love your man even more and as for your friend, give her a little bit of education. she may be innocent and brainwashed hence her ignorance. "Education is the key", as sung by the late reggea artist, Lucky Dube, from South Africa. i suggest that everyone gets a copy of this artists cd as he sings extensively about our beatiful diffrent colours and the need for us as a people to be one. its ok to cry and after crying please gte on you tube and listen to his reggea. you may not be a reggea fun but the words will heal your heart. so get up stand, stand up for your right----that is BOb Marley.

mt pleasant, congrats.
I wish VSC would do something and at least explain why their approvals are so irregular. We're happy for every single case here that gets approved. But it would give some peace of mind (and also hope) to those that get bypassed if they at least heard something.
AO-cons,
i just have a question for you. i am trying to prepare husband and i for a smooth sail through NVC and through the embassy interview. from your knowledge and experinces, what are the required vaccinations at the embassies ? can someone get the vaccinationd form their primary doctors ahead of time insted of waiting for the doctor who will do the medical?

####### ... those of us who filed in VSC in Aug/Sep/Oct/Nov are still waiting and here is an approval in one month.
allan, it is very frustrating that the process of petition approvals is apparently irregular. what i have realized to be very important though is to be very patient and optimistic and to kind keep my ducks in a row meaning to anticipate the nest phase of the process and to get the needed paperwork ahead of time. for you and your family, the best is in store for you.

i just think that the people working on our petitions have diffrent work efficiencies hence their production will differ consequently giving us different approvals. it is indeed very disheartening to see yourself getting off the timelines of your fellow applicants. it's about time that Dr. Phil comes to our rescue because we are getting all sorts of mental disorders, for me i thing i have developed some sort of obsessive disorder where i will login into my ins account x2 within the night after work and i will also be on VJ web for such a long time. i have also been able to diagnose anxiety , frustration and anger amongst ourselves, so do you think we need Dr. phil's services. can you picture yourself in Dr. phils show?

that was really fast, did you use an expedite?????
were you able to check your status online when you got your noa1???
we have almost the same time line and we can't check our status online, it gives us an error message
you give us hope we might be approved as well
the process seems to have an irregular way of approving things. it almost makes me think that the guys working on our petitions have a different work efficiecies; you would wish they were paid by work pieces and i bet they would clear their desks within no time. i appreciate your insight and my wish for you is that everything works out fast. as i compare my time line with your, it looks like you are next in line to get your NOA 2. i am not sure what is going on with your online case status coz i was able to access mine within a day of recieving the NOA1. are you able to login into your account? if yes, have you added your case into the portifolio coz if you haven't manually added the case, then you have nothing to track. please let me know how you are doing.

All the VJ iers who filed in Vermont in January 2009 for a spouse petition either CR-1/ IR-1 or I-130 are officially being invited and encouraged to join in this supportive forum as we are all birds of a feather. With each other, we will sail tirelessly. Welcome.

I filed on 31 dec 2008 , recived NOA1. Still wondering if i should apply for I129f. Confused about it. I read somewhere on the forum that it takes pretty much the same time as I 130. Any one has any sujjestions.
i also filed the I-130 only and do not intend to file the i-129. from my understanding, the i-129 can be used by a filer to bring the spouse here on some kind of a visa and then they can complete filing for residency here. as for the i-130 the filer files for the spouse who will enter the USA with a green card, the whole process get done in the spsouses foreign country. i am also under the impression thet both i-129 and i-130 almost are going hand in hand in terms of their processing timelines; after all they are meant to re-unite immeadiate families. they should make it easy and fast right?
