Our Story
Where do we start? My Fiancee & I met online through eHarmony.com on Jan. 13, 2008. We corresponded through email for about a month EVERY day and learned many things about each other from our writing, whereas if we were just in a casual personal relationship where we would see each other every day. Don't get me wrong, the daily relationship is just as important, but with our situation, we were able to dig deeper into each others feelings about one another, and our personality truely came out. After one month, we knew we were soulmates and that God had brought us together, so on Valentine's Day (Feb. 14, 2008), we started "Internet Dating". We made our first phone call to each other right after we made the decison to start dating. From that point on, we would call each other on the phone EVERY DAY, sometimes 3 and 4 times. Of course, the more we spoke on the phone, there was not as much need to correspond through email. In return, our emails got shorter and more time went by between them. However, I know everyone will agree that speaking on the phone is MUCH better than email since you already know about them via email in the beginning stages. In September, I flew to Taiwan (where is was currently an Overseas Worker until October before returning to her home in the Philippines) and proposed to her atop the World's Tallest Building, Taipei 101 on my arrival there. I was with her for about 2 weeks, and believe me, it was not easy to leave her to begin this LONG process of approval. However, we are optimistice and we have come to realize that as each day passes, we are one day closer to being together ALWAYS. Good Luck to EVERYONE and God Bless You.
