I have actually already moved back to my home country. I lived in USA for 3 yrs but could never quite get used to the fast paced life style. I am very luckly that my husband loves living in Australia.

There is something seriously wrong with Australian people. Something in the water, perhaps?
A mature minded person would of worded that better, so they dont offend Australians who read this forum

If this person is in so much danger, why have you not kept her at your house (when she has been visiting) and called the police.
You have told us yourself that she is in danger but you are not doing anything to help her,

I was wondering if there is any who can help me draw a design for a tattoo
My sister lost her 25yr old son to suicide 3 weeks ago and wants to design herself a tattoo in his memory
She has a picture of what she wants with a few changes
If there is anyone who thinks they can help please email on lynnyellis@bigpond and I will forward the picture and her ideas
Thanks Lynny

My hubby chose mine all my himself, I had no idea he was going to propose,
I love my engagement ring because of the very reason it was something he chose all by himself
I know that not many people would think the same way as me, but i think that chosing the ring together takes the personal touch away from the proposal

Paul
Steve Erwin was such an icon here, When He died about 10-15 people asked me if I was going home to his funeral.

Welcome to Massachusetts Paul, At least the weather is being kind to you, cold at night but wait till you have survived a New England Winter and the weather we had over the last few days will seem like a heat wave to you

Thank you all for your advice,
My boss is wonderful and is proberly the reason I am still there 3 years later and he took time to listen to me when I first arrived in Mass and he gave me the job straight away and has always made sure I was never feeling uncomfortable
The sad part is that this co worker has taken all the confidence I had and the enjoyment I had with the job and distroyed it all, to the point that I now feel it is time for me to move on althought I dont want to because now I will always be watching my back and dont think I want to work in conditions like that

Well, the meeting was a waste of time. 10 minutes into the meeting the co-worker burst into tears and claimed that she was being framed by the other co worker who had seen it happens, she ran out of the meeting and went home sick
The workl iasion officer is going to contact her at home to see if she is ok
and myself and the co worker who stood up for me have been asked to give a written statement of our claims and that was the end of that for now

Thank you everyone one for your great words of advice
I went through another day of her playing her head games, and was just about to explode when my boss asked to speak to me, He had noticed I wasn’t my happy self and wanted to know if I was ok, I am sitting there saying I am fine just stressed and not telling him the reason why because I had not worked out the best way to say anything without risking my job, when another co worker interrupted and told all for me, Apparently she had seen a few things and didn’t know what to do about it, until she realized how badly it was affecting me
So at the moment the outcome is, the coworker who has been playing these games with me is going to be asked into a round table meeting with my boss, myself, the co worker who had seen things and a HR employee. This is going to happen at 9am tomorrow morning.
I am not sure if the nasty co-worker has been told about the meeting or they will tell her in the morning
Thanks again for all the advice, it is so good to get a range of answers in situations like this

Can anyone advise me on how to handle a co-worker who has decided to make my life a work very unpleasant?
I have work for the same company for nearly three years and have always enjoyed it
My boss is really cool and will over look little things like clocking in 5-10 early or staying back 5-10 mins to finish any reports
This one co worker has always been able to stretch this to half a hour each way giving her 1 hr overtime each night, totally 5hrs a week no one has ever said anything and personally it never bothered me, I just do my work and go home
Anyway I had to do a budget for the big boss, which included overtime hours for each employee for the past 3mths
Well obviously this co workers overtime hrs showed up on the report and she got a warning, (we have the 3 strikes and your out policy at work)
And now she is determined to get me fired, and has told me it will happen
Twice reports that I have written for different clients have gone missing of my desks, minutes before the client is due (lucky I keep backups)
Twice a coffee cup has turned up on my desk (a big no no)
And today a huge report that has nothing to do with me was found on my desk
I do not know whether to complain to my boss or try and ignore it
Any advice would be great

I was lucky enough to get the first job I applied for and still work there 2 1/2 yrs later
After my first interview, i followed up with an email asking them if they needed any more information , I then got a second interview, which i followed up with a phone call to see how i went
2 days after my second interview i got the job
I have always believed in showing the ompany you are eager to work by follow up emails and ph calls

what about giving him some kind of reward for him to strive for, instead of punishing him for not getting good grades
He is getting B"s surely that doesnt deserve a punishment
only my thoughts

We brought the Wii fit game last week and are having so much fun with it. you can get a good workout from it if you put the effort into it
If you are into serious fitness training it is not the game for you
We have also brought so Wii games that we are not too happy with eg Star trex Cooking mania
