  1. i had the interview at abudhabi UAE. it all went good. the idea to be with my fiancee in the interview is all good. the consul asked my fiance (petitioner) more than they ask me. after 10 mins "congratulations" wow! were like "omg"! lol. were both now here in america spending times together (forever) dreams do come true so dont lose hope, stay focus and keep praying. good luck yall!

  2. Hi. I'm from Philippines but I'm going to take my interview at the embassy here in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday (Mar 17)

I did not receive the notice from the embassy but my fiance in the US received the copy and he just sent it to me. I've been trying to contact the embassy here but it was hard to get through. but this is not my concern...

Here, I was doing my own research and found out about "NSO Single Status" certificate. In that website she was just telling what she did when she was preparing for K1 interview (year 1999-2000) and she was in Manila. She clearly indicated that the NSO Single Status thing was only applicable if you were coming from the Philippines...............Then, that got me a bit worried because I have no proof that I am Single and Never Married!

I have no children, never married but I have no proof! Though it was NOT on my list of requirements, is it compulsory or a rule of thumb for the requirements?

If this is needed, then I won't have enough time. I would have to need 2 weeks max to process that...my interview's on Tues.

Am I just worrying too much?

Is there any other way I can prove I'm single never married?

    Thank you...

    HI,

CAN YOU UPDATE US WHAT HAPPENED ON YOUR INTERVIEW? I AM ALSO SCHEDULED FOR INTERVIEW (ABUDHABI) THIS COMING MAR. 29... THANK YOU

  3. If you have the case # for I129F, then you can call 202-663-1225 .

    Option 1

    Option 0

They would be able to tell you whether the petition / case has been received by the consulate . If "yes" then has the consulate generated packet 3 and has it been sent to the beneficiary.

    Good luck !

confirmed docs were received here in dubai. 2 weeks ago (estimated)... i am waiting.. i am just worried...

  4. Thanks for the reply.

The problem with that though is no one will be there anymore to receive the packets if I use her current address.

I read somewhere that after the NVC is sent to the embassy that I could change the beneficiary's address. Is that my best option?

    Hello,

Sorry for the delayed response, When you fill out the application form, make sure you put your beneficiary's current address abroad. Once you submit the application and get a confirmation / receipt, you can always call the USCIS to update adresses for you and your beneficiary. Make sure you call them right away though. And don't forget to check your case online as much as possible.
