I would like to know that is their any way she can file gren card after marriage ( I know it takes a lot of time for me to get a green Card) is thier a way out atleast legally I can work in USA.

Or what is the procedure she can apply for citizenship and how long does it takes?

    Thanks in advance.

  3. If US citizen is resident in your country, then it is possible to file an I-130 for a CR-1 immigrant visa to the US consulate AFTER you are married. (This has the quickest processing time)

Other options are for the US citizen to file an I-129F for a fiancee visa to the US service center in the USA having jurisdiction over their US Domicile address. OR to marry first, and the US citizen file ans I-130 to USCIS Chicago for the CR-1 visa.

Thanks for the information. I would like to know, being marrying disabled US Citizen that might have any problem for in geeting a visa for me. Please let me know.

    Thanks

  4. Hi... 5. I see 3 options for you:

K1: Quickest option to get you in the US. You get married AFTER receiving the visa once you get to the US and then file for green card. You can file for temp. travel and work permission and that will take about 3 months after filing to get.

K3: You marry in the US or abroad and then file for the visa. Once you get the visa, you come to the US and file for green card, but you have travel permission the whole time.

CR-1: Marry in the US or abroad and then file for the visa. This takes longer typically than either of the K's, but upon entry to the US they send you your green card within a few weeks. Nothing extra to file for.

A lot of us choose K1 so we can be with our SO faster, but if you wish to get a green card upon arrival, CR-1 is your best bet
