Just put them together... When I went to my interview, we put all the papers in a blinder, very organized, but when I got there they made me to take off, gave me a list to put everything in order again... that happened with everybody there... I think it's easier for them...

I stayed at Itajuba Hotel... it's 2 km from the Airport Santos Dumont and very close to the embassy too... it's a good hotel... It's cheaper than Aeroporto Othon and they also serve breakfast.

I know this is hard... but we started plan our weeding after we got the interview (visa) date... we knew that everything was going to be fine...

If you want to feel more confident you should wait until he gets the visa...

No, you don't have to change the passport you have from your country. A lot of people never change passports. Some consulates allow you to add a notation into your foreign passports about the new name; you may want to check on this with Brazilian consulate. But as I said a lot of people never change passports.

We called many offices in the list they sent to us... some of them wanted $130, $200 for the exam... but we paid $35...

I have some doubts about that also... how about the passaport? Mine is Brazilian... Can I travel wiht the same passaport?

It took around 15 minuts for me... I waited about 5 minuts and everything was done around 10 minuts...

...I'm so happy!! I received my green card on Friday!!!!...

Woooohoooooo!!!! We received the NOA that says our AOS was approved and we will receive it in a few weeks. Ours was one of those transferred to California. Took 4 months and 8 days. Thanks to everyone who answered our questions, this site is the best.
