  1. I just got this email from a Friend of mine from Arizona he just got to Guangzhou Sunday night Monday morning his fiancee went for medical exam. He went to the USA men's meeting they have every Monday at 2:30 for the American men to ask questions of any thing they want to know about.

his fiancee has her interview in the morning 6-10-09.

Here is his email to me:

Hello Bob,----i'm in Guangzhou the last 3 nights. Today Fangping and her daughter passed their medicals with no problem. Took approximately 4 hours. The weather is great, but I'm getting bored here. There are plenty of places to get decent food, but not much else to do unless you know where to go.--I went to the (American citizen's) meeting....it was total B.S.---you go to a window such the same as DMV--they give u a # and u go up, and ask them a question of your choice----bunch of BULL #######!!---alot of guys going to this had their fiance's visa denied, but they were given no answer why--so these guys were just looking for answers, --but got nothing from them about why they failed....I guess the girls have to pay another visa fee on top of the medical fee(800) yuan or so-----I have already gone thru 5000 yuan ($732.70)since being here 2 days!!!---DAMM!!!

So it looks like Guangzhou is still holding up to their BAD reputation !

they need a class action law suite filled on them ! and a Grand Jury investigation of the whole mess in Guangzhou.

i (we) just had our interview on 6/10/2009 and got pink - the 2 days prior were interesting to say the least - the medical was completed easily on 6/08/2009 - on the 6/09/2009 when we went to the consulate to talk to american citizens hour at about 10:00 they made us feel like we had no chance of approval - not to mention that they wanted money (300rmb) for typing the forms out again since when i prepared them i did so in pen - that place is good just to get the needed information - if you need them to look over your paperwork they will but i guarantee they will see a fault in the paperwork no matter what - dont fall for their scam and give them money for anything - on the pink slip it says that the u.s. consulate is not affiliated with anything thats not on the 5th floor!

  2. Guys,

Wonder if anyone got the visa the same date after the interview from the GuangZhou, China, Consulate. I heard that you can pay extra to get the visa right away. Just want to make sure if that's true.

    Thanks!

not to my knowledge - i (we) had our interview on 6/10/2009 and upon our approval was told to go to pay 20rmb for post office to receive and on the pink slip it said that it would take 2 business days to get - after 2 days one can pick up at guangzhou post office

i read the pink slip from front to back (2 times even) and did not see anything of that nature saying being able to pick up early or immmediately after getting approval of visa - if it did say that then i would of went that route also - so i guess that doesnt exist in guangzhou china embassy anyway

  3. Went to the interview and was not granted the K1 visa, due to not knowing English. I was told to file CRS1, can anyone help me with this proceedure, is this a extended process for the K1?

    Thank you

i (we) went to guangzhou for K-1 interview on 6/10/2009 and my fiance got a pink slip and she doesnt speak very good english at all - more like chinglish - we communicate very well because we understand the meaning of the words that we use (part english part chinese) - she only said that she promises that she will learn english once in the u.s.a. - they spoke to her in chinese so that wasnt the problem - it sounds like the reason for your denial was not due to the lack of english but must of had some other deciding factors involved

  4. Hello great people! I was just curious on how long between P3 to P4 we have to finish the required documentation for the interview. I have read from most that there is at least a month in between. Thanks!

gamal - from my experience which is still ongoing i have waited for 23 days now - i mailed p-3 in on 14 april 2009 - i went k-1 - i called guangzhou on 4 may 2009 and they received my p-3 but have yet to finish background check because my fiance is from tibet

  5. I've read conflicting reports from USCIS.Gov sites that say only just now are Oct. NVC approvals are being recieved in Guangzhou. The outlook seems bleak. Yet on Visa Journey, I am reading statistics how numerous others from closer to my NVC-2 approvals are getting P-3's already, and in some cases, even P-4 interview dates.

On one hand I am gathering I can expect my Jan. 26 NVC-2 to be another 8 months or so....or according to other V/J members, I can expect any day now P-3 to the Fiance.

Please give your input..............Are this .gov sites really accurate?.....or are the timelines given here accurate.....it's very confusing! Mine is K-1 if this makes a difference.........Please help me get a better idea! Thanks in advance!

My story is that once my petition got approved on January 2nd at NVC it took until after I faxed Guangzhou did they then reply. It took over 2 months for me to put into perspective that they were dragging their feet. After 2 months I faxed them 2 different times and Guangzhou then sent my fiance her instruction packet.:innocent:
