I prefer watching our other National Sport ~ Lacrosse..... both professional and my 7th season veteran son in minors. The game is faster and way less political for my liking..... the boys(men) play it for the love of the game certainly not the pay!

I am a die hard Canucks fan.... back to the awful 'V' jerseys (not that I am that old....) and Tiger Williams being one of my first memories. Although I am still in CDN and watch HNIC with my sons every chance I get. It becomes quite the battleground with a Flames and an Avs fan in the house.. never a dull moment!

Nathan and I met on Facebook of all places! There is an application called Social Me, that was May 2008. He is career USAF and hardly ever on FB.. but the timing was right I suppose and fate took us by the hand and led us to each other.

Ok, I joined the ranks of waxing... after reading this when it started I decided to take the plunge! I have a warm sugaring pot that I use for my eyebrows and knew it would work for a bikini wax..... well after a few glasses of wine, some light headed moment probably from holding my breath before I ripped off the strip I managed to get it to where I wanted it. ... although the results were good, I have some stubbley bits...Any how my question is if it is your first time do you have to do it twice a couple of weeks apart? You can't see anything, it is smooth looking but I can feel a little bristly?? does this make sense? Could it be from breaking the folicle instead of removing it totally from the root? Also, how would one go about giving the remainder a "haircut"? Just scissors to trim?

And my youngest will be devistated if I tell him that there are no Kindersuprise in the States......could be a deal breaker! haha

Just a quick question... I just got my pictures for the G325 form done. The passport photo specs for Canada are different then the specs for the US. My question is ... Will this cause problems and an RFE? US specs are 2" x 2" Canada is 2" x 2 3/4" ....... The petition is complete from my "Beneficiary" side, well I guess because I am the control freak I did the leg work on all of it, all the USC has to do is complete a small portion of the I-125f, sign all the letters, complete his G325, attach his copies of B/C and Divorce Cert, and get his picture done. Hopefully we will be filing in the beginning of May.

Any input would be good....

Great thanks everyone... I will go get my Cert tomorrow. I have got the package all ready (I am the CDN and a control freak), all he has to do is sign in the appropriate spots attach his question his B/C and his divorce cert.... and it is totally in his capable hands to mail when he wants!

For primary evidence I printed out all my electronic tickets from online purchases, visa or M/C statement behind, the boarding passes I could find attached to the ticket pages and a print out of my Frequent flyer miles from United. I don't have all my boarding passes any more (4 boarding passes per trip over a year... and i didn't realize they would be needed) but hopefully the frequent flyer print out will be ok as proof of my trips. Any other suggestions? I have attached 7 photos and phone bills as secondary evidence. I have ATM receipts and Visa or M/C sales slips from NM........ any other suggestions?

Located just outside of Red Deer, AB... exactly half way between Calgary and Edmonton. Has been known to have the highest birth rate per capita in Canada. Population has doubled in 4 years.... Red Deer on the other hand is where Cam Ward played Jr. Hockey the year before he won the Stanley Cup with the Carolina Hurricanes.

I have been through Calgary 6 times in the last 9 months most recently last Thursday. I always say I am going to Albuquerque through Denver, going to see my boyfriend and I am staying x amount of days. It has always been very painless for me.

Update...

Went to the local registries office at lunch today, and all the information on my long form birth certificate reflects my "adoptive" parents and not my birth mother.... which is what I was most curious about at the time of posting. But as I thought about it, it worked its way clear. I will have the documents by Wednesday or Thursday next week, now I wish the US government was that quick for everyone who is waiting.

I can't remember a time I have ever been happier! Not sure where I found this website but what a Godsend! It will calm fears and lead those having troubles in the right direction.... and then there is the wealth of knowledge from the 1000's of members.

I have a totally wonderful story

But the basics are the same as everyone..... I am here and he is there! We are lucky, there is only 1600 miles between us, we are in the same time zone, I have unlimited long distance and texts and I go visit him every 6 weeks with the grace of the company I work for. But it is getting harder and harder to leave him, the only saving grace of not staying the 89 days is my children!

Here are the things that I am concerned about...... Evil, nasty, bitter, ex-husband and getting a court order from him to take my boys with me.

Long form birth certificate from Alberta if I was adopted. I have the wallet sized one... could there possibly be an issue with a long one?

The only other thing that is worrying me is....... he has active orders pending for Afghanistan. He was postponed earlier this month, but the not knowing if they will be called up again and when....... well I guess we cross that bridge when we get to it too...

I am so excited to get into the system, because then it becomes a little more real. I will be taking the documents/information he needs for the 129F when i go for the long weekend in February.
