i got my gc june 12, 2010, went to SSA june 21 to get a new card and i got my social security card in mail on june 25, 2010. maybe u try to come to ssa office after 1 week probably they updated her status already...gudluck!

We had our interview last May 12 and it was less than 15 mins. Our IO told us that she's going to review our papers and let us know if she needs anything. She didnt tell us if we are approved but she cancelled my visa and she took my I-94. Last friday, May 14 I checked my status online and they changed it to Document Production. So i guess we are approved.

Hi, anybody from Connecticut or Rhode Island who are done with their medical for AOS can recommend a civil surgeon that dont charge too much? i went to a civil surgeon in my area today and he is charging me US$ 115 just for doctors visit, US$65 for Td/Tdap and US$96 for varicella. and if i'm going to redo all my medical it will cost me US$ 850. it's too way much expensive!!! Tomorrow i'm going to call some civil surgeon to shop for their fees. if you have recommendation it would be gladly appreciated. Thanks!

I got my visa last July 8, 2009 but my NBI clearance expired July 7, 2009. Do i need to renew my NBI clearance? It is still needed in the states? I was interviewed March of 2009 but unfortunately , i only got my visa after 4 months bcoz it was under investigation. I just need some advise..thanks!

U still need ur sponsor's latest income tax return or tax transcript. k-3 is a non-immigrant visa even ur already married so u need i-134 affidavit of support. goodluck!!!

Our visa interview is scheduled for April 20. We're applying in Manila for a K-3, non-immigrant visa. My hubby's dad is our co-sponsor. He is using a I-134 affidavit of support.

Tax returns are not mentioned in the instructions for I-134. Will they be required in order to get the K-3 visa, or will we only need tax returns when we file a I-864 when we apply for adjustment of status?

If your married allready and you file the I-134 instead of the I-864 what your supposed to file . Your visa can be denied , the I-134 is for non family based visa only . And the I-864 is only to be used for family based visa , and k3 and k4 visa is a family based visa . When k1 or k2 visa is a non family based visa . And your wrong in your post it says your visa is an non-immigrant visa , your visa if its a k3 is an immigrant visa . K3 visa means allready married , but no childreen .

FPU - Fraud Protection Unit. It really depends on ur CO. my husband was not with me during my interview he is in the states and he has limited time for vacation. and we thought that all the proofs that we have is already enough.

Eventhough u cant get inside while she's having her interview as long as the CO knows ur there outside it's a big plus.

hello! i just got a call from SLEC & the woman told me that they already have the result but only the doctor will tell me about it & they ask me to go to manila...does this mean that my result is positive?!

plz i need to hear from anybody who had the same situation...i'm nervous & feeling low & disappointed

I brought my DS-157 printed online and BDO here in Makati validated or stamped it. Better bring with u the form which u filled online wen u go to the bank maybe they will accept it too. if not, u can still use it coz we need 2 copies. Gudluck!
