  1. To all the people that have submitted the I-130 for their spouse,

and have gone through the long journey!.

Like myself, I am excited for starting this journey.

I recently sent my package I-130 concurrently with I-485, I-765, medical exams, and supporting documents.

The waiting of course... seems to be eternal, but of course have to be patient.

and as it takes its time for everything to happens,

the Interview is one of the main steps most of all us have to go trough.

I kindly to the people who have gone through this experience of the interview,

    to share it with us!.

As i was reading in the forum, for some people have been Horrible, while for others was a piece of cake! =)

    What was yours like?

    Intimidating? :o

    Very Easy Going people?

    Lots of questions? ;)

    The worst experience ever? :wow:

Share with us, who are still in the waiting time, for this interview to happen!..

    thanks! :P

  2. Hi, i decided to publish this topic,

as a way for others to share their expereince in this journey.

I came here as b1/b2 and overstayed.

When i was in highschool, i met who is now my husband.

Because of money issues, we just sent our package couple days ago..

I have submitted the I-130 package, concurrently with I-485, I-765, Medical exams and supporting documents to USCIS Chigago.

and now the waiting time starts...

Of course we all would like to get an immediate response from USCIS about our case,

but for some people take longer than others, (depending the office the package was sent to)

And as i was reading this forum, there are many cases like mine, or similar who have gone trough the same process.

So, i was to the people who has gone through this process to share their experience with us.

I'll be posting updates on my case, for others to see, and help (if there is something i can help with)

and make this process less stressing.

All your input will be 100% appreciated

  4. Congratulations on your marriage!!!

I'm in the same situation as your wife. I came here when i was 15years old. as b1/b2, and overstayed.

i went to Highschool here los angeles, where i met who is today my husband.

we got married last year and because money issues,

we barely got the funds to send our package.

So, from now and on.. im just waiting on any reply or news from USCIS.

I'll be glad you share your experience in this long journey..

as i will be sharing mine to others... to make this waiting long.... look not soo estressing.

    Thanks for sharing your experience!

  5. I'll be having that experience too. !

Im excited and at the same time nervous.. since my husband is in the army and he is being deployed.

and from what i asked, i cant go to the INterview alone.

I have to go with him, since it's based on MARRIAGE!.

My fear is that im gonna have to postpone the APPOINTMENT i get until he gets here within his 2 weeks vacation.

Hope there is not any problem with that.!

    Good luck to YASI,

and please share your experience with us!.

  6. thanks for Your advice!

I know there is nothing to be nervous about...

She is taking with her the original BIRTH CERTIFICATE of her and her brother's.

Those documents are prove they are siblings...

so, i don't think there should be any problem =)

and yeah... i'll make sure she gets some PEPSI.. LOL

    oh, BTW, one more question:

can i go with her ?

Since her brother won't be able to make it. He has to work.

I'm also making my AOS through my Husband, i recently sent the package (this saturday)

And i understand that the person that goes with her, has to have a Government ID.

well, at this point i only have a MILITARY ID ( i was able to obtain because my husband is in the ARMY)

I think this is enough right ?

I should be ok, if i go with her, right ?

thanks Sooo.. much for ur answers!.

    they are all helpfull!.

  7. HI there everyone,

thanks again for all those great comments and helpful hints you all provide at this FORUM.

This case is about my mom, whose brother is citizen and have petitioned her on 1998.

She already filed her I485 and supporting documents,

she has already received her WORK PERMIT, and because of it, she has obtained her SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER.

well, her RESIDENCY APPOINTMENT, is on FEB 5,

SHe is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Nervous... that she is making me nervous too.

She is wondering what QUESTIONS she'll be asked in her interview.

The person who prepared her paper work, told her that the only way her RESIDENCE can be denied, is her and her brother are not SIBLINGS.

even after that... she is still wondering WHAT QUESTIONS SHE'LL BE ASKED!..

Has anyone been in this situation??? or knows what questions they ask at the interview???

    THANKS YOU ALL.

    I really appreciate your INPUT!!!

  8. I'm a B1/B2 who overstayed, and my husband is about to file the petition with all proper documents and forms.
