  1. Hy,

I ve been in the USA for the past 2 weeks.

It feels to me that I am here forever...not in good way,though...but I 'm feeling very anxious and I am really homesick.

Now ,my husband, has taken me to a trip from Connecticut to Miami...now we are in a hotel room.

We have the kids with us.

Everything is beautiful here ,but it's not my home and I am not sure I can stay to live here..I feel like I am suffocating here ,I am feeling very sad .

Ever since i came to the USa I have nightmares...I feel so sorry for my husband because he wants me to like it here ,and I can't relax...now I 'm begining to appreciate more my country ,my home,my parents...

In 14 days taht I stayed here ..I already bought airline tickets to Romania twice..and than I canceled them becuase my husband wouldn't come to romania with me and the kids...I had such bad days and nights....I quralled with my parents in law...very badly...

I just want to go back home to Romania..but my husband doesn't want to come with us...I don't think I can stay here...it's worse than a pain that one feels when someone dear dies..it's worse thab the days when I was alone without my husband .

I Like it here only as a vacation...but not as my home.

My husband says that he suffocates in Romania and doesn;t like that country....I don't like to live in this country...I am really scared that our relationship can get bad...and I do love him so much...but I am so in pain in this country..and I just wanna be home.

  2. AbbynSheryl, we have the interview on the same day..... :D:dance: !!!!!!!

Today I finished arranging my photos in a big album for the embassy .

I got sooo manyy photos with our family in these 4 years....thousands of pics ..I "only" selected and printed 400 and I kind of shuffled them ...I didn't arranged them chronologically...in this way the consular will get a more rapid glimpse of our 4 year marriage life .

What other evidence do you bring at the embassy?

I have my husband's passport with all the stamps when he entered and leaved my country ...so that I can show how many times he visited us...He came 9 times in Romania.

I will also write down the dates from the passport and make a timeline with arrivals and departures and how long he stayed here.

I don't have any phone bills :( , even though we spoke daily on the phone , but my husband forgot to bring the bills from USA and I only used prepaid mobile calling cards.

But I have some emails , some messenger conversations...some cards that my parent's in law sent to me and our children ...and I also have some pics of our PC 's desktops when we were talking on skype and mess...

We have 2 children together...we 've been married for almost 4 years.

I also have 40 international wire transfer forms of the money he sent to us from USA.

He will also be with me and children at the interview.

I hope everything will be ok at the interview.

  3. I am also counting down the days left till the interview...I have been wating for this day for soooo looong .

I met my husband in 2005....(when he was a legal permanent resident and I couldn't get any type of visa to visit him..I have never been to the USA ) ...

.......now is 2009 (4 years of long distance relationship...2 babies together )...still can't believe it's less than 3 weeks till the interview...and our family will be united .

I wonder how I am gonna feel like with the immigrant visa in my passport..and in our babies' passports too.

I am so anxious ..I can hardly sleep at nights.

    Good luck everyone!!!!!

  4.  :dance:Congratulations.

I can't imagine how I will feel like when I hear "your visas will be issued".....I think it is such a relief after so much stress....

You must be happy ,happy ,hapyy :star: ...I am so nervous about the interview...

Once again Congratulation and tell us more about the interview, about the questions, if you can and when you have time .

  5. My husband who is an American citizen(and Romanian too) also came to Romania to live with us ( me and children )after he filed for our I-130 papers at USCIS.

This thing does not have any connection to the speed of our immigration proceessing .

USCIS is not interested whether you choose to live with your spouse while the papers are ready and the visa is issued.Your moving with your husband is regarded as a personal choice and will not affect your immigration timeline .

AR 11 form is only to report the change of address of an alien in the United States.

So this form is not for citizens.

  6. Thank you for the answers.

I have just come from my medical examination . I am so tired becuase I was there with my 2 little children ( 2 years and 1 year)...it lasted 5 hours .

    ( from 8 am to 1pm )

My kids became very bored but I am happy everthing went out quite ok.

I was worried about the medical forms just for nothing ,becuase when I went at the designated medical office they had there the medical forms.

So , I am glad that it wasn't necessary for me to wait for the medical forms to be sent to me by mail by the embassy .

Now I have to go to the medical clinic and pick up the results in an hour .

Besides blood work and chest ray and a brief medical consultation ( height , weight ,eye sight , blood pressure ),I had to have a vaccination (ROR)today ,and also my 2 year daughter had to take a vaccination(Hepatitis A Vaccine)....my little son had also to take a vaccination , but the doctor said that my son has a mild laryngitis and needs some treatment before getting his vaccination.

I hope this vaccination that my son couldn't get today won't be any problem for the interview at the embassy.

All in all , the medical examination was easy , especially for someone who doesn't have to go there with 2 little kids I think it is much easier ...

My children didn't have to have chest X rays , nor any blood work...only a brief medical consultation.

  7. Congratulation , estrella for your visa !

Are the medical forms the same for every country?

How did you schedule for your medical examination?

I am going tomorrow for my medical exam and I have downloaded my medical forms:

Form DS-2053 — Medical Examination for Immigrant or Refugee Applicant

    Form DS-3024 — Chest X-Ray Classification Worksheet

Form DS-3025 — Vaccination Documentation Worksheet

Form DS-3026 — Medical History and Physical Examination Worksheet

I decided not to wait anymore for the embassy to send me the medical forms and I made an appointment for medical examination for tomorrow.

I hope everything will be ok .

However , I am curious if you waited for the embassy to send you the medical forms , or you just made an appointment to a designated medical office.

    Thank

    you .

Please help me with some words, I am quite worried .

Hope I took the right decision .

  8. I have one big concern about medical examination and medical forms.

When we received the appointment letter from NVC last week ,I followed the instruction from the link I was given there about Interview preparation .

I understood that I have to call a designated medical clinic from Bucharest and make an appointment for medical examination.

And than I read on Romanian forums about the procedure about medical examination and medical forms , but all I read was about K1 visas and some k3 visas ...but I have IR1 visa and the procedure is very different .

I called on Monday a clinic and made an appointmant and than I wrote an email to the embassy and asked them about medical forms ,whether I shuold download them or wait for the embassy to send me medical forms.

I received an email on Friday and ambassy told me that theu received my file and my daughter file and they will send me a letter on Monday...but they dind't say anything about my son's file...My husband filed for me and our 2 children.

Now I am very confused ...I have an appointment in Bucharest this MOnday ( and I don't live there so i have to travel with my children to the medical clinic) ...

Should I go on my medical examination this Monday , or sholud I wait for the mail that the embassy will send me with medical forms.

Are there not the same medical forms everywhere ? Does the medical clinic have the medical forms ?

I am so confused? Should I cancel my medical appointment and wait for the embassy to send me the medical forms ...or the medical forms that they will send to my are the same that I can download from net....?

Can anyone please help me with a piece of advice?

    Thank you .

  9. My husband called today at NVC and we found out the day of interview - August 18th.

We also got email today from NVc with the appointment letter for the interview.

I am so anxious...keep thinking about the medical examination now.

What do I have to do next?

Do I need to wait for some instructions from Us embassy ,or I'll just call tomorrow at the medical clinic in Bucharest and schedule a medical appointment.

    I am so anxious.

We have IR 1 visa form me and IR2 visas for our2 little children ( 1 year old and 2 years old)..I am so curious ... Am i allowed to go to the interview also with my husband so that he can help me there with the babies , and papers and stuff I have to carry for tine interview? or I will have to manage all by myself with 2 little unpatient children....?

    Any ideas?

  10. As it is Saturday I haven't called NVC operators , but called today at AVR number and it said that:" NVc has completed your application and has forwarded to Bucharest embassy ".

So we have a date of interview for sure and we'll call NVC on Monday to find it out.

I am so happy and anxoius to know the day.I think it is in August.

I will also complete my timeline but I need a little free time to do it .

  11. Eklondon....I think that your kids received RFs because you might have sent to NVC Affidavit of Support for them ..but minors don't need Affidavit of Support because when your children get to the United States you can apply for thier citizenship right away ( N600 form ) so the only one who will continue to be a legal permanent is only your wife.

So I think that is why you got Rfs for your kids.If so you need to send back to NVc an exemption from Affidavit of Support..noting difficult ..just some other formalities.

    Good luck.
