I think you are mixing to diferent visa process. The packet #3 is only send it to person applying for a K-3 visa not for IR-1. As Que said please confirm what path are you following?

We are taking the CR-1 route.

We submitted the AOS and the DS230 package? We hope our K-3 visa will be approved within the next few days.

Several questions:

a. Does NVC set up interview date with Embassy (Nairobi)?

b. Does NVC set up medical appointment?

c. Will NVC send the Packet-3 to us or do we pick it up from the Embassy?

It was less than a week for Claudeth's petition.

We are in the same boat as hanysalama. Our I-130 was approved Feb 10 and I called NVC everyday last week checking if they had received it. By Friday (Feb 20) they had not received it. So what to do? Just keep calling?

Is there anybody out there whose I-130 is at National Benefits Center (MSC). I see discussions on VJ about Vermont and California Service Center but nothing about National Benefits Center. I am unable to find a processing timeline for 1-130 at MSC on VJ or anywhere else. Any idea what the deal is with MSC...anybody?
