  1. My I-130 petition has been approved and forwarded to NVC

    Now I am wanting to know if it has been received and a case number assigned or not ??

    I wanna do that By e-mail because i'm from Algeria. =)

    You need to call the National Visa Center and plug in your receipt # from the service center, if they have your approved petition, they will automatically assign you a case # and then you can e-mail them the Choice of Agent. If they don't have it yet, you're going to have to wait until they do have it.

    Yes it was approuved I-130 for alien relative ;)

    But i just wanted to know if i can know my case number via e-mail :)

    I am really looking for clarification here and the people on this site seem to be very helpful!! :)

    then,

    I am of Algerian origin living in Tunisia for 15 years, my father is a U.S. citizen since many years living in New jersey. he sent a I-130 petition to Vermont Service center, section: Unmarried child (under age 21)of U.S. citizen 201 (b)INA. which was transfered after to California

    They recevied it on February 14, 2008 it was written in my petition Section: Unmarried child (under age 21) of U.S. citizen,

    201 (b ) INA (my father is a U.S. citizen)

    I am 18 and will do my 19 in February

    I wanna know after being approved, How long my petition will take to the end.
