give birth outside US
in US Embassy and Consulate Discussion

I am a US citizen and my wife is a conditional resident card holder. Our church wedding will be held next year in the Philippines and arrangements have been made already { church, wedding reception, videos, etc....}. Then recently we just found out that she's 6 weeks pregnant. If we push thru with our wedding and she decides to give birth outside the US { Philippines }, will our child be a US citizen automatically???? father is a US citizen while mother is conditional resident card holder. Our wedding is set on May 2010 and by that time my wife will be on her 7 month pregnancy.
