I don't have any advice because we are still waiting for our interview date at new delhi. You and I have very similar timelines. My petition reached embassy on April 6th... we mailed in packet three on April 13th.

The consulate has not posted May interview dates online yet... but I'm seeing other people with May dates. Do you think I missed the cut off... will we probably get June? Any advice?

lovica.. our timelines are very similar. My case arrived in delhi april 9th, we sent packet three, but we still have not received any info about our interview. On Delhi's consulate webpage only april interviews are scheduled. Did you call someone or already receive appt letter?

Please... anyone, any insight, do you think I will get a may interview???

Sam, I was wondering if you were ever able to speak with anyone at the embassy about the voter list.

My fiance and I are trying to get these common 221 documents ahead of time, but are having difficulty with the voter list. Any tips or ideas? My fiance lives in New Delhi.

Hi everyone...

I've been reading VJ for months.. not sure how I missed this thread. My fiance (from New Delhi) and I received noa1 on December 5th. After reading through this thread I'm feeling positive that we will get an approval soon!!!

Of course now that we are so close I'm also feeling a bit crazy. Do you think there is any chance of an RFE this late in the game? If we would have received one it would have been earlier right, or no?

I'm not sure if I am posting this in the right section.

My fiance and I are currently waiting for our noa2. I'm hoping (with no AP or RFE's) that he may have his interview in Delhi around May. We received our Noa1 on December 5th.

I'm not sure if these things will help us move faster... but we are both young, 25 & 26, neither of us have been married before, no criminal record or previous visa applications. So if we get Noa2 in the next few weeks.. have an interview in May.. and he comes to NY in June.... my questions are:

1. Am I being realistic with these timelines? I know there is no guarantee and things can always get held up, but I can't help plan stuff in my head.

2. My real question is this... I found a really good flight from NYC to Istanbul (under $300 roundtrip per person inc taxes, on iberia). I have booked a ticket for my fiance and I in November (hopefully for our honeymoon). I have 48 hours before I have to confirm and pay. Is this a crazy idea?

I have not done my research about advanced parole.. would a honeymoon even be considered for this? Is it a hard process, are our timelines cutting it too close?

3. If I do take the "chance" and purchase, should I include this as evidence at the interview.. or will they think I am crazy for booking something before I know if it is possible?

4. I'm guessing we would still be waiting for aos in november, would he need to get a visa from india or from US to go to Turkey, oh geez, i'm getting overwhelmed.

Any, absolutely any help would be greatly appreciated.

My Fiance and I are waiting for our NOA 2. I am reading info about the New Delhi consulate and how particular they are for the passport photos that are supplied to the Embassy at interview.

The passport photos I (USC petitioner) sent in for the 1-129F were 2x2 inches (like the consualte wants in the future). However... my fiance in India, his photos were a little bit smaller.

He will obviously get new passport photos for the interview, but do you think that was okay for the 1-129F? If not, how do I send in new ones before getting an RFE?
